I've already shown this (+ the other 150 frames of the animation), and everyone agree'd that it was good.

CC please =]
And expect something spectacular (IMO) in a couple of days.

Great job. Gotta love your particles. And your fire effects overall.

There seems to be some kind of awkward pause before the explosion
actually starts dissipating.

Basically the explosion already kind of stops at the full orange shape but it
suddenly bursts in to particles. (it's kind of hard to explain :/)

But otherwise, really nice particles and glow.
Looking forward to your next "revealing".

Paco, that's the thing I was talking about. In a couple days to about a week or 2, I'm going to post the finished one. No need to blow their minds just yet ;D
@ Opted: I think I know what you're talking about. It was a test, Picture a balloon being pumped with air. The explosion gets full of it's force (balloon full of air), and pauses before it bursts. It was a test =]

MY OPINIONZ

The breaking down from large particles to smaller particles is too fast.
The particle dissipation could be longer, unless you were going for shorter dissipation?
The whole explosion looks too clean; the particles disappear at pretty much the same time.

However, the explosion's colours do look good. It stands out well against background, and looks pleasing.

Hmm. Good job?
