IT IS, THAT'S WHY I MADE THIS

I probably messed something up around the end, but I need a trail expert to give out a few pointers.

EDIT:

HERE'S AN EDITED VERSION, WITH DIFFERENT TRAIL AT THE END
Does this one look better?

the only thing that really helped me was the trails and stuff
the easing i used was fine, it was just at a faster pace

i think what messed me up at the end was probably the fact that i don't have the premade trails. i have the adjustable ones, and that's it

uhmm well the finsh product of that is too slow... and that is correct strider use easing but make sure you make it fast but not too fast at one point and make sure the trail fits into the onion skin... here is a trail blur.. thing...http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/1888/stridersswordblurgu3.gif should look a lil sumthin like dis ;D ! billster heres a tip for you u want it too be pretty fas to show that the swordsman is applying force to whatever he or she is hitting...

You usually use trails for something that goes in high speed. Or a way to show that you hit something or someone.

I think jonny has got the best concept of it.

Covalence

Well, strider. You can move an arm with easing and call it awesome. But it isn't awesome. Something longer than 100 frames can be cc'ed.

Only problem is the ending, just leave the last trail for only 1 frame.

Yeah, I know that. I just wanted comments on how I can trail.

i would say add a frame or 2 around 5 or 4 or 3 clock and shade it a grey or somthing to act like its going faster and then it wont look like there is a big gap in the animation

That doesnt really look like pivot but it looks pretty cool but it is kinda fast

megaanims

that's the purpose of a traail it is used for fast and frequent sharp movements
