These are some guns I might be using in my TAG Team (http://www.stickpageportal.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81483) project. Even if I don't use them, its good practice...

MP5K
Original: http://www.af.mil/news/airman/0104/mp-5k.jpg
My trace: http://antiup.net/view.php?id=64711064357MP5K.swf
I swear this is not a bitmap trace, It took me 2 days to make this gun. I just finished it this morning.

Shotgun

Original: http://estore.websitepros.com/stores/829285/catalog/remington%205077%20ati%20accy%20collage.jpg [the top one]
My trace: http://antiup.net/view.php?id=17713716676shotgun.swf
This one I think is pretty nice.

Sniper

Original: http://bastardsinc.blogs.com/bastardsinc/images/barrett_xm109_payload_rifle.jpg
My Trace: http://antiup.net/view.php?id=24515904524Sniper.swf
I hate this gun.

Knife:

Original: http://www.sz-wholesale.com/uploadFiles/M9%20bayonet_%20military%20knife_%20hunting%20kniv es_118.jpg [the top one]
My Trace: http://antiup.net/view.php?id=9114945847military%20knife.swf
The background is gray because parts of the knife are white.

Your traces look better than the actual picture.

If i could vote I would give it a 10/10 =D

Not bad at all. Man it looks like you trace bitmapped it! that would save you some trouble if you actually didn't. What I am trying to say is it is good. Keep it up!!

Now comment on my ani. :P

:O

wow.

But looking back at the pictures, cheesy, you couldn't have trace bitmapped them. It just looks very much like you did because it is so well done. Great job!

Yeah, I can prove their not bitmap traced, bitmap traces don't add lines, mine has lines. Their black with 10% alpha so their hard to see, but their there. Also if you look at the original of the MP5k you can see flecks of something or a tiny bumps in the metal on the reflections, those are not there on my trace.

The MP5K took the longest at 2 days. Then the Sniper at 4-5 hours. Followed by the Shotgun which took about 3 hours. The knife was not even an hour.

I'm glad you all like them, I spent alot of time on em...

Oh I am not saying you traced it, it just looks like you did at first and second glance.

They are all really awesome, but i like the sniper the most.

If you give me the .fla for that traced sniper i'll make a quick sniper short out of it...

I suppose I could part with the sniper, It's not my favorite. But give me some credit for its use. I'll edit this post with the download link for the sniper.

Enjoy, give me credit for its use!

Your pretty good, i think the sniper is gay because you picked a wierd one, you need to find a better, more modern, sleek black one.

Theres a better one for you.

i guess i'm gonna have to be a dick.

these are traced.

they are in the same angle as they are in the picture EX sniper.

and what i bolded, you could of just chose to not add that in the trace.

but srsly, i believe that they are traced because i haven't seen anything else you have drawn.

Thats not a Sniper rifle, thats just a rifle with a scope. Its true though, I couldn't find a good pic of a sniper so thats why the one I have sucks. The resolution was gay and hard to make out the details.

I want to find an actual sniper riffle, that can only be used well for sniping. Like with the mother****ing huge scope thats as big as your face.

EDIT: @ Tman; These are traced, but not bitmap traced. Most guns you see in animations are hand traced to make it look as realistic as possible. I never said they were not traced, I've only said that they were not bitmap traced. In case you didn't noticed I listed it as Original: then My Trace:

Spending 4-5 hours on one gun is alot longer than me, most of my traces are about 20/30mins work, you may want to tone down the gradients unles the guns always look new in your animations.

Huh? I wanted my guns to look detailed and nice. I'll reuse these in later animations, but primarily in TAG Team. I want these to be the best guns I can make to bring up the quality of the animation. Thats also why I want help with TAG Team, cause I suck in some aspects of animation, like explosions and blood.

Tbh, I think they all look pretty bad. Anybody can trace a gun, but it's the coloring the counts. Sorry to say, but the coloring on all of them aren't very good.

The first one is decent, the second one is a bit bland, and the last two are pretty ugly. Also remember that you don't have to try to make the coloring exactly like it is in the picture. If you can make it look better without staying loyal to the reference, go for it.

Yeah, I'm not saying these are uber epic and perfect in every way. I'm just using these as guns in a project. They don't need to be perfect and most of the time you'll be zoomed out anyway. So you won't see as much of the imperfections of the guns. Their not meant to be art. I get what you're saying about the switching colors around, though. I suppose I could do that. But I like the color scheme they have already. I might try that one one of them though, just to see how it comes out.

It feels good to get some actual criticism as opposed to "OMG ITS AWESOME!"

lol
