uhhhhh all my anims are choppy I hate it hate it!!!!!!!!!! >:(

To defeat choppyness and become better at pivot:

Step 1: Don't move a joint one way in a frame, then another in the next frame.
ex 1: Don't do this
---| next frame --|-

Step 2: Try making smaller movements.
ex 2: Instead of ---| next frame ---------| to move something, try
---| next frame -----| Ease progressively if you're animating a moderate movement. You should on make a big space if you're in a faster stage of easing.

Hope this helped you, but I'm assuming the 1st step was the one you need to work on.

I followed you cc stirder on this skate anim i know the beggining sucks but i tried my best

Now, you have to combat stiffness also, for it is another great opponent in your quest to become a decent pivoteer.

Problems with your animation:

Stiffness, definitely. How to know it's evident?

They're in the same position, (basically), throughout the whole animation. Try to animate them trying to balance, for no one can stand completely still in the same position while stalling, grinding, flipping, jumping in mid-air, etc...

When one's in mid-air, he cannot stop then change direction, for you would need time-controlling abilities, and skaters don't have that. If someone's falling, they would have to gradually turn while they're falling towards the ground. you get what I'm saying?

Slight Choppyness.

When the smaller stick's scratching his face, it shouldn't go back and forth that quickly, imo. When a stick's going down a ramp, the space is way too big to go from the lip to the center, even if he's flipping. And even then, that would be relatively impossible to do irl.

Stiffness always defeats kratos.

It's funny how you think your a pro, but you suck more then he does.

Beginners section. Seriously, don't post your animation out of the section unless HIGH pivoteers tell you that. Not noobs that go around like "0h sw33t pl0x t33ch m3h y0r k3wl an1matioanzzz 4rt!!!!!!!! Y0R KAEWL!!!".

*sigh* Delete this thread and post in the beginners section.
