It was very smooth and EPIC
but the fade away seemed to go a bit fast

Very nice. I reckon it came on a teensy bit too fast, but the dissipation was good. More colours would be nice as well.

Reminds me of miphosto's explosions, t'was good. More variation would be good though.

It was pretty hawt. But maybe make it a little bit brighter since explosions aren't always that saturated of black. And maybe up the transparency but yeah... tis still was epic.

Since ther is no fire, you should make some IED explosion effects you know. It's awesome but it seems like it lack power, almost like a smoke bomb or something.

It needs to appear slower, and it needs more colour.

Since your getting rather good at this im going to have to nit-pick. Instead of double/triple/however many you used framing for the expanding of the smoke, try drawing it again but slightly bigger, even if its 2 pixels around each time it'll make a huge difference to the flow. The particals were very well done but the first bit before double raming was to fast and the double framed bits seam to have been triple framed or something and look pretty lazy. I'd like to see this with those bits tweaked and it coloursed and shaded. As already stated it does seam a bit powerless if that explosion was the size of, say, a person but if it was the size of a house or even a block of flats, the scale would make it seam a little more powerful.

All that said, its still one of the better smoke-explosions I've seen in a long time.
