Alright, I haven't been on for a long time.

I am somewhat out of practice, (not having animated for several months but here's something I put together)

Ok, I am definitely out of practice, but here's something else:

Added something else, not actually an animation, but made with flash.

An animated background this time: (It's unfinished and needs more work.)

he sorta vibrates before he blows up.

Actually that's crap.

I see no vampire, actually I don't see anything, except for a spot, vibrating before whatever the hell it does.

Make an actual animation next time.

@Rabstar, thank you.

@Gyohdon, it's a vampire in the sun, blowing up and crumbling into dust or something. It was done in around five minutes. Look in again in about half an hour for an actual animation. I was just checking if I still could do particles. Jeez.

The vibration is intentional.Like I said, I was trying different stuff.

oh, it looked unintentional... lol
5 mins? Too fast! Take your time, man.

I rush through things, I know :P

My second anim (see first post) took somewhat longer. I didn't put a lot of graphic detail though.

It ain't as good. :/ It needs easing, I think.

lol, it looked pretty cool, just it needs more of an introduction (something to show us where it is and stuff, so it's not like; "wait wtf happened?" )
But other than that it was good :D

Yup, I agree that it needs easing. That's what happens when you don't animate for over six months.

How are the electricity effects (round the blue guy)?

they were okay, pretty good but they seemed a tad weird, i don't know how to put it :D

Alright, just added something else. Not actually an animation, but it's made with flash. Animated backgrounds will come soon.

I also updated the second anim. Just some effects for the sake of better graphics.

Added a waterfall animation. It's part of an unfinished background, and I need to improve it a bit.

nice... add some reflection (just a bit of white) to the waterfall and add light to the grass and it's perfect :D good job keep it up

The backgrounds were very bad. You need to learn to add detail, and a lot of it.
Ever played Castle Crashers?

That is where I learned my style from. Pay attention to the shadows, how he sets them. The layer he's drawing on is like, the animation layer. To create a good background, it's good to have a good background behind the animation layer. That would be the woods that are behind the buildings in this video. To sum it up, one of the most importants in a background is detail. I hope this helps. (If you have a 360, buy Castle Crashers =D)

Ah, you're probably right. I'll get to work on it.
