View Full Version : A Quick Walk/Resize Test

I called it "The Atom" because it's a test for both smooth walking as well as changing a characters size. The feet kinda get cut off but it doesn't really show up so much that it should be counted in the CC.

you dont need to name something that short
n why do you want to resize? its a bad thing

I dont see the connection between an Atom and a walking stick figure who resizes :3

Anyway, it needs way more frames per step, check out some tutorials on walks, there are loads.

If he is proud of his animation and wants to give it a name, let him be.

You need easing, and more smoothing.

Lol puinkey, are you kidding me? You're really awesome :D

why do you want to resize...thats bad. resize tests are supposed to be so that you dont notice the characters size changing :|

also the walk is awful. he lifts his leg too high and it looks very sloppy, not enough frames ber step and its very hard footed (i.e. should be smoother).

Thanks for comments. SO major notes are.

1.Apparently resizing for effect isn't very popular =(
2.Smooth out movements
3.Add more frames to make it look more natural

Meh I just had an idea for a quick animation(once I get better) where the stick shrinks and grows while he fights his enemies. Thought it might be cool.
