Critics or tips appreciated.

well it wasnt bad fire. It was simply too sketchy. and in my opinion, fire should never just be one colour. you have to layer it up, like this-

Hm, shit quality but you get the gist.

Nice dissipation though. If you decide to layer it in future, just do the dissipation the same but with each layer separately.

Yeah, if I really wanted to look it like fire, I'd add those colours. Though, alot of people told me my particles sucked so I'm purely practicing those.
Thanks for your help though :)

Oh k. You shouldve told me you were only worried about the dissipation or I wouldnt've drawn all that up :s

ok sicko.

I think you should have it not dissipate so fast, but otherwise it's good.

Not fire.
Particles are bad.
When working on particles, keep in mind that certain effects and transitions have different types of movements.

Fire doesn't wind down like that. It's also the wrong color, obviously.
I suppose it's good for what it is.

As I said, I didn't really aim for fire, I aimed for particles test.

Spinning particles in the end weren't exactly entertaining and even though it's a particles test you should have put more colour into it, maybe some glow, you know... special effects to make it look better.

personally, I quite liked it....
It was just a test, so I didn't expect to see so much detailing so much as in the colour.

I actually think the swirling in the end rounded it off quite nicely, but obviously some people don't.

All you need is practice to impress those people who have high standard on particle effects..

Ah, fire.

The spinning was sort of cool, but considering it and the whole thing dissipated too fast it ruined what could be a cool effect.

People said it is the wrong colour, and also the biggest thing people get wrong with fire is its weight. While all that plasma junk is light and sparkly, fire is thick and slower.

If it was meant to be fire, it was just ok, and if it was meant to be just random particles it was just ok as well.

Hmm I thought the way it spiraled was pretty interesting. Even though I wouldn't say it was 'realistic' fire, it was pretty cool anyways. Make it dissipate slower next time :D

You said it was fire, (not supposed to be good), but the particles are bad considering fire particles don't act like that.

Slower... Alright I'll try to add more frames :) Thanks for all the crits guys.

Any more except for "weird colour" or "needs slower" or something?

as someone else said..... Use heavier lines (thicker) for fire....

That isn't what they meant, extremekd -_-

...Saying this for the fourth time: IT WASNT ACTUALLY MENT TO BE FIRE, ITS MENT TO PRACTICE PARTICLES.

fire just doesn't fade away in the same spot, the ashes should fly off while dissaperating or w/e the word is.

great reading of the above post chunkels...

anyway, I think a thicker line should be used for particles (generally), but that is only my style...

Looks nothing like fire.

On the other hand, if it was a plain particle test, then it was alright, considering the spinning of the particles is slightly unique, and the animation was quite smooth.

Nice job.

Sha, I agree with Chunkels. But enough with that. The PARTICLE TEST was fine, keep practicing.

Stop spamming, thats all I see you do.

This, is pretty much it.
