Here is a background try I did.

There are two backgrounds in this one flash. Each go for about 100 frames. Remember, these are my two first backgrounds so I don't know much about them. I put some music in so as not to bore you. :Happy:

Nice one, using the big fat tut that teaches you about faries and stuff.

Yep. I did. But the second one I did all by meself haha. The big fat tutorial is verryy helpful with the foreground, background, etc. I recommend it.

Scenery is something that takes time and practice to get better at. You're not going to be able to do kick ass backgrounds within a week, even if someone good teaches you.

you can do something kick ass if you keep it simple, like retro, you just have to think of what design you wish to make, and go over it a few times to pick out the styles you want to go with. I'll do something to show you what I mean later(meaning I probably never will...).

Lol, alright guys, thanks! I know that I can't get good at something in a couple of days, weeks, months, maybe even years. It takes... time.. a whole shitload haha. Thanks again! If there is any more critique for the backgrounds go ahead.

Bit more shading on the trees and the first one would be perfect, second one is weirdly shaded, though.
