I'm really trying to get back into animating..
I haven't animated much since early last year. Kinda blew off animating and now I'm into it again.

Background took maybe 30 minutes. Rest was maybe 15-20.

I don't remember how long this took but I think it was only about 30-40 minutes.

I really like your style and the backgrounds are sweet.

I just use brush. Not sure if that's much of a style. But thanks.
You should see the grass zoomed out, it looks really cool.

Do you use flash 8? Because in cs3 I cant make the brush very big which makes me angry! lol. So I use pencil instead.

Flash 8 eats all other versions of Flash.

Don't give us these excuses, Xekia.

Anyway, the backgrounds are alright, the tree one actually looked okay despite the filters applied to the foreground trees. The light beams were a good idea, but maybe a subtle blur would be in order to make it more ambient (just make sure there aren't too many filters overall).

The animation was extremely hard to see, which means you're hiding behind a high framerate. I suggest lowering it down, because if you use a high framerate before you can handle low ones then you're just limiting your skill (movements don't have to be as precise at high framerates). I suggest going down to something as low as 8, and learning to animate smoothly without the help of speed to mask faults.

I was worried about the filter whoring. I draw better then I animate.. ._.
Yeah yeah excuses excuses I suck. 24FPS is to high, going back to 21. *Because I can actually animate at 21*

That was very helpful. I'll try animating at 8, see what I get. Thanks.
