It all began with the desire for a new avatar. Then I decided to do more than a simple animation and came up with this. I don't think the animation came out as well as it could have but I'm pretty satisfied with it. Also note the inside of the skull has no detail or depth. Something that kind of bugs me but at this point 3 days in I have no desire to change it more.

The muscles falling off obviously took me the longest, with it taking 9 layers by itself.

Didn't like the first peel much, to be honest, but when the muscles fell off it was pretty awesome, I'd say the 9 layers paid off

The first peel was animated fairly easily, I suppose. :)
The muscles falling off were very well done; they acted like muscles and actually had a feel to it that made them look like they were sloppish.

It's good. I would have liked it better if the guy wasn't in exactly the same expression the whole time though. :p
