I'm a noob, gonna go ahead and get that out of the way.

I have played around with Flash XM, 8, and CS4. What would you recommend me using? CS4 seems kinda difficult, but I know it's got a bone tool in it. So I guess that kinda makes it like Pivot. So far I like 8 the most.

I have lots of great ideas that I wanna see come to life. I've watched the Castle series, which is simply amazing. I know it takes a lot of practice and skill to make those kind of animations.

Any tips, links to really good tutorials, anything is appreciated.

Ok, whatever you do, DO NOT USE THE BONE TOOL.
It makes your computer run slower while running inversed kinematics, and you can barely even move him. Sure you can move the joints, but not the entire figure.

I would recommend starting with 8, MX is easier to use, but if you use it for a long time and then upgrade, the upgrade will seem more complex.
Also, Flash 8 features filters (like blur and glow), which can make animations seem better if used in the right context.

This should be in the "General Help" section, not here in the flash section.

Yeah the bone tool seemed to suck a lot. I am probably gonna use Flash 8 because it has filters.

Thanks!
