Blatantly traced off of the meet the spy video for tf2, but it was still pretty fun to make

Haha nice.

Looks like the fingers on the model lent themselves very nicely, since tracing fingers is usually the hardest part.

Wow, nice. I can't stop watching...

Valve are really good animators as well.

Idk why's everyone so impressed, its just tracing, everyone can trace that..
Try some real animation =)

just curious

if you're going to double frame every frame in the animation, why not just halve the framerate?

With double framing you can still do Frame by frame animation, you cant do that with lower fps.

Time to time you just need faster movement, thats why people double frame.

if you ever want to go over it later with a quicker element then 24 is best.
it kinda just gives a bit move freedom, its the same effect as separating several layers with a blank layer. the blank doesnt do anything, its just easier for sorting somehow.

Somewhere near when he starts to spin the knife ther is a single frame for the knife. ^_^

thanks bud
because I never do "real animation" right

I wasn't sure if I was going to add in any in between frames, so I just did it at 24 in case
