Your full body attempt is laughable. You should probably practice with sticks more and then try full body again. Also, full body includes the full body and not just a blob torso and sticks.
Edit : OIC tawnik style full body KAY

Lol yeah thats the easiest way to do fullbody, and thanks, laughable makes me feel good DX
and Cc for the superman one?
EDIT: and well, its tawniks OLD style

Its not my old style, its not even mine =D I just use that.
First of all you should focus on movements, easing, smoothness, I will try to type as much as I can and I will explain some things.
Well, first thing that is totally off is the way he jumps. You know, you should take your time and dont be lazy, think of the movements more and ease them, when he's preparing for the jump it should be more smooth, there should be more anticipation, example, you want the stick to turn, what you should do is this, http://www.truploader.com/view/467841, I made it in 3 minutes, but have a look at it, thats the anticipation for the turn, it looks A LOT better when you do it this way.
The next thing I have noticed was the preparing for the jump, there was barely and easing, heres another example, how would I do that, http://www.truploader.com/view/591924 , Oh, when making this mini tut I found my older animation, its quite okay, you should have a look at it, its not perfect but I like it :) http://www.truploader.com/view/539493 ( I am not showing my animation because I want to ruin your topic, Im trying to show you examples !! :D, I hope you arent angry =)
Thats it, anticipation and easing, if you learn these two things you will be good animator ;)
Aand the last thing about Superman, its the trajectory of the second guy, its kinda weird =) people dont jump & fall like that (even stick figures dont) the movement should look more like a curve, again, my animation that demonstrates it http://www.truploader.com/view/944538 (just tell me and I will remove all the links I put here =)

Now the fullbody one,
it was alright if you're starting with it, but you should still think of easing, anticipation, spacing, timing... + you should be aware of resizing, there was A LOT resizing in your animation =D Heres a small tip, what helped me to keep the same stick size.MC for the head with two dots in there, http://www.truploader.com/view/886918, but if you use those lines, think of stiffness that means you should leave the guy straight all the time, bend his back, move his head up and down.Aaaaand another tip, animate just the head, torso and legs, add arms later =) + imo you dont have to use those circles for joins, for me it was just time consuming =D nothing helpful, but feel free to use them, its just my opinion =)

Woah, 18 minutes of commenting, I hope you can translate my crappy english :)

06-20-2009, 01:17 PM
Well the resizing was supposed to be in the fullbody one, but whatever.
No, tawnik dont remove links :D I need to study those now :P
And i'm not angry your posting yur anims as examples, im thankful <3
