I focused on the "swinging" with the sword, watch also the second arm thats coming, then grabs the sword and hits the enemy.I tried to make the timing perfect =) I hope you like this.I might draw a bg, idk, tell me if I should.Mesmay doesnt have to tell me, because I already know :D

i think that the sword should have a trail, in order to make the movement look smoother, or make the sword move on all the double frames.

see what it looks like without the double frame before the hit, im not sure but i think it will make it look more fluid.

last of all, when the guy with the sword hits him, he comes to a complete stop, when this should be eased out.

though i did like the animation, it was different, as most people would just go for the blade through the skull.

I dont really feel like adding the trail and I also think its smooth/fluid enough, but yeah, I can do that for you and we will see =)
The guy doesnt come to complete stop, he is eased, but there are just 2 frames, I was thinking of continuing the animation, I left it like this because I had to go out, I just wanted to have some comments when I come home :) but now I dont really think like continuing and since Im doing the extra sword inbetweens for you I will also make the easing.

edit, Thank you Smiley, your comment is very appreciated, it looks much more smoother now, I left there some double framing for the sword, but I think its okay the way it is now, http://www.truploader.com/view/785429

Tawnik, the animation is pretty okay, I noticed that it wobbles allot, no resizing which is very good, but it does wobble like hell. And the (almost) dead body was really ugly in my opinion, you animated him for 3 frames and then you just moved him, if it was a kill the body wouldn't be dead, and if your not dead you would move your hands to your face when you get a sword into it, or when someone is sitting on you, you would try to push him off. So yeah that's kind of a bummer.

Well its wobbly because its that big and because my hand shakes, idk why, but I cant draw that good anymore, I would have to zoom in, but I dont like it, can you tell me what parts of the body did you notice ? I mean what body parts resize..
And the other guy is supposed to be really weak, maybe senseless.. he isnt trying to defend himself because he is just about to die.

Apart from that, yep, another decent test..
As always, its good, but it doesnt show any of your real skills, doesnt have anything which makes me think "Wow tawnik just rocked my socks off"..

Naturally you have to make a big long animation tawnik >:3 if the tests are for gaining experience, what would be a better learning oppurtunity than actually testing out all of the things you've tested in a little movie, yknow?

edit: it also ends kinda quickly, like, the guy on the floor doesnt particularly react as i would expect if one just got hit in the face with a sword hilt. Furthermore, i wanna see them filled in, and i want to see more intricate layering next time, so i can see hands switch from being "behind" the sword, to "in front" of the sword, if you know what I mean?
I reckon you could do that for this one if you just cut the hands and copied them onto separate layers, possibly.

The body wobbles like a mad man.

And you should try to use a pencil and find the correct size, it will stay the same, even in 2000 per cent zooming, so you won't have any trouble with wobbling then.

I used to use it A LOT, but I think its over me, I dont really want to use it anymore, it was just, weird, but for you, I might give it a try =)

when you animate without colors in animation(or with very little colors)the animation is faster then with colored pics(on the same frame rate),yes the other arm is visible while coming to take a sword but only couse the animation is short and looped(so make it visible with colors)
