http://www.truploader.com/view/558285 faster version

Yeah,
I love Lixu because he told me to try out line again.
I love Mesmay because he's so epic and he told me to animate the hand itself.
I'm also in love with one girl, that means Im not gay.No, Im not.Sorry.

24 fps, 1-2 hours, just a few frames :|

And you love me because of my honesty.

Could have been better, the fingers look like they got smaller, and the sword didn't look that good. You should do full body animations IMO.

Something didn't look...right...for some reason.

I dont know why :/

Arch-angel, yeah, true, smaller thingers, I've noticed that too, but didnt feel like fixing it.And how come this isnt full body ?

Shanto, did you click the link ? Okay, that was a joke, bad one, but well, try to concentrate and tell me whats wrong =)

the spin should be faster, cause now he is just flooting to long in the air

It's just a hand and a sword. There is no color to the animation, and the outline doesn't look that good. I think you should go back to animating actual figures or actually try animating a person.

http://www.truploader.com/view/558285 Faster like this ?

Arch-angel, I want to focus on hands, because hands are really important, even if you animate the proper fullbody, your comments are good, but please, try to give me some solution, you arent afraid to tell me that you dont like the animation, but as I see you cant give me anything else :|

Well, I just see 4/5 different hands but then animated with free transform tool, rotating it. But it looks really good so that's very impressive and inspiring.

Awesome job, I think. It must cost you a lot hard work, but it's IMO really good (I'm talking about faster version. It was something wrong in slower... But I really don't know what o.0).

There really isn't that much to say. It was a short animation of a hand moving a sword around. There isn't that much to comment on. You might like this better:

The physics on the sword suck. The weight of the blade would cause the sword to actually fall instead of just flipping. The hand needed to raise up a bit before flipping the sword. There is no value of weight in the animation either. This goes along with what I just said. You should make the sword look heavier by adding more anticipation and more motion. It looks weightless right now.

You don't see the whole sword, it could also be a dagger.

He's calling it a sword, and the same principles apply if it was a dagger =/ Unless it's a pussy dagger.

It doesnt matter what it is, I called it a sword, but does it really seem weightless, because I was very happy when I watched for the first time, I was like, Oh I've managed to give it some weight and for me it really seems to have some weight :|

More comments on the weight & physics please.

It's fine to me. Arch~Angel should shut the hell up because he doesn't even know how tall the sword is.

The psychics tells me the sword looks like this: http://64.22.100.83/~banfield/DAGGER2.JPG

That couldn't be what it looks like because the blade is thin, like a sword.
The hand would still have to move differently to flip a dagger over ._.

Look closely in the bottom left corner when the flip begins, you'll see it's as tall as a dagger.

What I see is an incomplete drawing =/
If it was actually a finished drawing, then why didn't he finish it to make sure? lol
