Probly doesn't need a new thread, but what the hell.

Thanks to the people who helped me with the first one. I tried adding some stuff to this one, it still doesn't have fire, debree or a tremor, but i'll reserve that for the third, this one took like 6 hours, thats how slow I am at animating, lol.

Nice essplshon, but why post 2 different threads for pretty much similar things?

6 hours later, N T sees thread shown on frontpage of spp reading "549873459027345th ever explosion" by CronosXIII

This one looked much better.

it was very good, what bothered me however was the perfect pattern spacing between the billowing smoke and the fact that it came from the direct bottom of the explosion. I also find this quite neat as it has a different element to it.
It has a light and floaty feel.

This fits the category of a very artistic explosion and not very realistic by the least. I advise you to keep your unique style and improve on it, it will benefit you later on.

you've got the initial explosion part down fine, but now there needs to be shockwaves, a growing ball of fire, debris and camera shake

Better than the first.
You still need to use more colors.

I didn't like the form of the smoke cloud. It was more horizontal than verticle, which really isn't a good thing. You're also animating the entire thing as a whole, some areas are going to move faster than others, and the particle flow will consist of much larger pieces, rather than the entire thing dicipating upwards (Basically make the explosion break off in the middle as well).

A little better than the last one you posted.

I loved it even without the fire

Thank you everyone.

RawGreen: Will do ^.^
Chunky: Ill try to add them in the next one I do, although I have no idea how to a growing ball of fire.
Arch-Angel: Ok, thanks for more advise, i'll try make it break apart next time.

Okay, for some reason whenever you do reflections it's fine the first time, then the reflection gets ahead of it!

But it's sexy.
