Hmm, i personally didn't like the slash when it inverted or blacked out. But the head was cool.

The head bounced too many times at the end, for being on such a soft surface.
Nice looking overall though

I really liked the shape of the blood when it went negative, but I didn't like the end stance so much. Overall really good. BTW is there an actual button for negative or do you have to fill with the bucket?

Your motions were well done. Fluent and all. The only blood I saw was during the shadow, which was sort of awkward to see just disappear. If you mean it to be a strike mark in the dark, you may want some entering motion onto it. Maybe a rip. If it's blood, after the shadow, you may want the blood to literally explode while the shadow is off.

The shadow also comes a bit too instantly. it even makes my screen skip a little in the color difference. Maybe fading quickly into the shadow, in 2 or 3 frames would work. Just like easing in a motion, easing in darkness could work in the same pattern.

Keep it up. Nice work!

What Kitsune said. Make the blood fall or splatter even after the shadow flashes.
