No, give up now.
You could try finding a copy of swift3d and learning how to use it.. but it's hardly worth the trouble.

The only free thing I can think of is Google Modeling or Google 3D or something like that.

You're not going to get anything 3D into flash, free or not, unless you manage to rewrite the entire programme which then smashes up against your 'easy' point.

oh... well thank you for the answers. But would trials of Swift 3D be the best option?

Nothing is free in this world we live in, well not permanently free. You could get Stickz.

That'd be about as un-3D as you can get, barring pivot. If there's a trial of Swift or Maya or any 3D software really, that's probably more what you're looking for.

Excuse me Zed. What's a maya?

Bu if I get the trial, can I download Models of guns, and export them into flash? and if so where could I get them?

Excuse me Zed. What's a maya?

A kind of 3D software. I believe it's the one that Tawnik and Cronos use.

Bu if I get the trial, can I download Models of guns, and export them into flash? and if so where could I get them?

I don't know enough about 3D animation to answer that. The best I can suggest is google.

I put this 3d knife together in all of 10 minutes from a previous model that I had made, mind you I know what I'm doing. The shit in the background is just to show that it doesn't have any opaque backing.

If this is what you'd like to do, follow the steps below.

1) download 3dstudio max trial.

2) Make a model of a gun. If you don't want to you can download free gun models (of varying quality) from www.turbosquid.com . Sign up for an account, search gun, and download it. You're looking for .3ds or .max format.

3) Open or import the gun into 3dstudio max.

4) Look up a tutorial on keyframing. Use that knowledge to animate a 360 degree turn of the gun like I did, on whatever angle you like. It should be around 20 - 30 frames otherwise file sizes increase.

5) Find the environment tab in the rendering settings at the top. Change the background to black.

6) Loop up a tutorial on lighting and materials and make your gun look nice.

7) Look up a tutorial on rendering. What you want to do now is render your 20 frame animation as a sequence of PNG images. The PNG files should have the setting "alpha enabled" on. Render it.

8) Import that sequence of images to flash. All done.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU. This is Exactly what I'm looking for thank you!
