So yeah, I went straight ahead and keyed everything that I thought was important, it was quite fun, I didnt want to cheat so Ive set up the boxes then drag the guy away.I wasnt counting the steps, I wasnt planning how far should he be or how far should the boxes be I just wanted to force myself to create everything as I go, when I came to the time when he was about to jump on the first box I knew that he wont succeed to jump on the other one, there was a big gap and as I said, I didnt want to cheat, I could move the boxes so it looks perfect and he will finish his epic jumping, but I didnt want to, apart from that I made him to try really hard and jump there and fail, this is the blocking, that means there are keys and extremes, no other inbetweens, I will add them tomorrow, hopefully, because Ive got DiRT 2 and it pwns :D its really fun, but animating is more fun so I guess I will finish it tomorrow and post another update.

Hope you liked it.

It was kinda laggy for me (probably my comp) but it was pretty decent. Looks like you got lazy again at the end since there was no movement to the head or body after the initial bounce while the arms and legs were still really lively which made it look a bit odd. Otherwise, not too shabby again.

Dear Miccool, do you ever read what people type, I know its kinda long but I was trying to say that this is supposed to be laggy, there are just keys and extremes, there are NO inbetweens, that means it looks like its tripple or 4 framed, thats why it looks laggy. The head bounce is there, but its really not that noticeable, thats caused because its stepped (laggy, not inbetweened, whatever you want to call this stage)

But thanks for the comment ! :)

ya, I tend to skip large blocks of writing >_>

also.. I thought it was always auto tweened when ever you moved the guy or something.. How do you do it so that there are only the key frames?

in maya you have several options for the curves, some kind of presets, it defines the easing..

I really like them but maybe you should start working on something a little bigger, maybe aim for 1 minute instead of 20 seconds?

Thank you for your comment, I see what are you aiming for but I think I will stay with short animations, long projects are great, but I might loose all the concentration and inspiration just because my computer lags when working on huger stuff :( it drives me mad.. I also like to do a lot of new things, thats what I can do when doing short tests =)

It's beautiful :)

The bit right at the end before he took the last step looked a bit odd, like he was a bit shaky but in a tweened kinda way, and the foot placement looked off during the spin if that's possible, but the flow of it was great and the sense of momentum/weight and everything else was all lovely.

Oh yes, I was trying to fix that, but I just manged to minimize it :( how was the foot placement wrong ? how could I make it look good ?

Thank you, Ive created this in less than 2 hours, which is great ! and it was fun !!!!

From frames 44 to 57 he only has the ball of the foot on the floor to spin on, which is right, but as he spins that contact point slides around a lot. It's noticeable if you just slowly drag the slider from 44 onwards, but most noticeable between frames 52 and 53. To make it look right I'd say just make sure the foot stays over the same point for all those frames. You may have to change the angle of the leg to make sure the body doesn't wobble around too much if you do it.

Oh, I thought you mean this, I just wasnt sure, thanks for telling me I kinda aiming for a jump effect in the middle of the spin, because as the momentum grows and as hes spinning really fast it might have be fun to let him fly a little, just a tiiiiiiniest bit, but yeah Ive totally ruined it with the sliding foot, which wasnt what I was aiming for, I also notice that the second foot is straight and then on f53 it bends, i saw it when going frame by frame but now I can see it even when just watching the entire animation.

Thank you for this and how do you like my epic scene with the epic wall letters saying 540 turn, I am kinda proud of myself because of doing that :D
I like when people do this, I tried it out, would you mind telling me how it worked, how you felt about it when you saw it ? Or did you not really mind it being there ? :D

Edit, Ive almost forgotten to tell you that if you type "Tawnik" or "Tony Tripes" or "Antonin Tripes" in youtube, you get MY animations !! I was so happy when i saw it.

I think the painting on the wall is great. It fits perfectly with the scenery.
