No I was dead serious. Didn't know what he meant by "Gun animations". I was thinking to myself... "what could he mean by Gun animations? A Sword? A Knife? A Cannonball? What is Gun Animation?". Then he helpfully gave a very useful example and pointed out that Gun animations are animated guns, much to my delight causing me to squeal with joy.

Anyway about the aniamtions, before working on effects try doing general movments first. Just give me an animation that's not about effects. Oh and post in begginers thread for now.

Very well done, it took me a whole year before I mastered camara movement and I still struggle with it even now. However there are still some obvious problems with it like the lack of flow, you need some sort of movement In every frame or it has a stop-go feel to it.
Its allso stiff, you need to move every joint in each frame, even if it's just a tiny pixel of a movement. But there are tutorials for this here on stickpage so I'll let you read those.

I liked the cinematic camera movements in the first half.

Ok,but can I ask you a question?
How to make the animation play"faster"?(I mean, play12frames per second to 24frames per second)

In pivot it can't be done. Because of the way browsers display animated .gifs you can only save at about 17fps. The only way to change it is to import your animation to flash, and I presume you don't have flash.

No, import an animation INTO flash. It's a multi-perpose program but mainly used for animating. The stuff on the front page where all animated in flash.

Well, I have Flash Professional CS4. What can I do to import the animation into flash? Can you teach me?
Or It's another program? please, tell me.

I don't actually have flash so you'll have to ask someone else.

Then how can you make your animation faster?

He animates everything at the standard frame rate. His animations do not go faster.

To import to flash, open flash, click file -> import -> import to stage -> [select your animation (.gif)] -> import.

Thank you very much!

And now I understand why my animation plays slow, because I use 2.2.5 and 3.1 beta but now I'll use Pivot 3 . I'll post it in beginner thread.:D

It's not that, it's because your saving the GIF wrong. :/
But yes, stay with pivot 3.

I think it's sitff... you should post on beginners thread and practice a "normal" animation ( for example : Running , Jumping , Walking ) :It's the most important things in animation.

Sumfink

Only a mod can delete threads.

Just don't post in it, starting... NOW.

Zed
04-10-2010, 09:01 AM
Actually, you can go to the first post and edit it, and then check the 'delete post' option, and then confirm it about twice, and then with no first post the entire thread goes.

Edit: Oh, btw, I've locked this so you'll have to just leave it.
