(yes, these are mine.) i made a fairly good pivot. http://filebox.me/files/2j9fhgh52_ I hated the drop of water in the last part. More to come. c&c?

hey you're cinnamonbun right
I think you've definitely improved from whatever you used to animate, where you barely incorporated basics. You still could use a floor, and maybe move the back a little more during some movements. Other than that, just keep on doing what you're doing - improving.

Yes im cinnamonbun. Thank you for C

The easing was great, and it flowed very well. Awesome job.

Thank you. :D

Update! new run style. bad? http://filebox.me/files/fv6fm4u26_1263145113_dress_up_1_.gifedit. Changed speed. http://filebox.me/files/8ms9kqxeu_1263145113_dress_up_1_.gif

Hey use a better stick, the thicker the limbs the easier it is to ease.
Remember to move every thing in every frame.

04-22-2010, 06:24 PM
When i moved the back, i thought the movements would be a little unnatural.

04-23-2010, 05:01 AM
Yeah, I've never found a way to make the back move without getting shaky or slo-mo. There's just not a high enough frame rate. Best I've done is:

And even that's got a jerk in the back.

That new run is far superior to the old one. Keeping the knee bent all the way through the forwards motion is best. The more similar to mine, the better ;)

04-23-2010, 05:27 AM
the run cycle is good but if you used a better stick it would be great

04-23-2010, 09:39 AM
i like the run but i dont think i should be saying anything because am not that good when it comes to running in pivot
http://www.truploader.com/uploads/596194 thats how good i am at running.

Update. I have not done a attack combo in a while. So do not expect me to be good at it. http://filebox.me/files/4e7p90f9r_aseries.gif Foot placement, C&C?

04-24-2010, 07:21 PM
He shouldn't be able to slide his foot downwards like that unless he's on ice.

And from the angle of his arm I was expecting a much higher punch.

3D closeup. http://www.truploader.com/uploads/615525asdert.gif

04-26-2010, 06:44 PM
Really shaky, and the 3-D didn't look that good. The head was alright, but I didn't really like how drastic the size differences between all the limbs were after he lunged forward.

04-26-2010, 08:41 PM
The 3d, to put it bluntly, was fucking horrible.

You need to vary the size within the limbs as well, each one isn't a straight line but a triangle. Use a .stk for each body part. And the size difference shouldn't be nearly that drastic. Just change the thickness by the amount that feels right, you'll know when it loooks good. Or maybe that's just me lol.

Also, it's generally easier to do with a stick that has thicker limbs.
