@ First Animation: Eh, yeah, I think you should stay in the beginner's section. The running was quite bad... uneased. The running was too slow, too. If you want, I can PM you a .piv of my heavy-spaced style running... just don't take my stickfigure D:

When the runner hits the guy, it was really choppy and jerky.

@ Second Animation: A little better, but the running still needs work. The attacker's reaction was good. The victim's reaction needed more. You should have made the legs fly up a bit and bounce once or twice.

I tried that fast running stuff, but people said I didn't move him slow and I said I took him across the screen in 4 frames because of deeerrr fast running ;D. And I like your animation better than his.

I know I'm not supposed to post other animations but...

If your running is something like this, your good, but I messed up on the feet :L. Note, this is nine frames :D

^I MADE THIS^

thanks everyone :D and pivotmasterXDfan (im his fan as well :p), that second anim wasnt mine lol, you misinterpreted. i was saying that that was ultimate stickman's anim, so i couldnt possibly be the best in the beginners section :p.
and thanks for the little running pic. ive never been good at making them run. anyways yeah i think its the beginners section for me, but ill keep practicing, and on a leaving note, i give you this masterpiece that took 27 minutes :p :

[edit]
also, i never thought of making him run like that, because i ran myself and saw how i did it and i tend to put my foot forward, like walking, but higher and faster and leap. but i do see how that looks weird in anims, and the other way that you showed is much better.

Mind if I comment?

You did good on easing, but the movements, were a tad jerky, where it wasn't eased. When the guy dropped his arm, I saw you attempted a little arm flop, which was good, but you needed to add more swing to it. When the guy got hit by the ball, he fell down good, but he needed to bounce more, especially his legs, if you want, I can try to make a good fall, because I see that's one of your weak spots, which is nothing to be ashamed of. The ball had the right bouncing height, but the wrong speed, try easing the ball more. I don't know if you did this on purpose, but, the ball rolls about 1 or 2 frames after it lands. Well, that's about it =D

1. Don't post in other people's threads
2. I cba right now to tell you how to post animations correctly
3. ALWAYS post in the beginner's section first, no matter how good you think you are.

if you want a rank, around med beginner.

work on:

Stiffness
Choppyness in places
Easing in places
Fluidness in places
Preparation (like building up before a jump)

Thanks for the CC, I'm trying to take some of the mistakes off my list..

are you doomdooer ?

and parssanth, we are using the same program, we're just a bit advanced in it, don't worry by the time you practice and look up tutorials you'll be the same.

thanks. yeah it was a little jerky. and i did attempt an arm flop, but kinda failed. i think thats what i want to base my characters around - the ehole floppy arm thing. and yeah im rubbish at falls. so do you mean that when he lands to bounce his legs and arch his back and then flop or someting? (so it looks like he bounces a bit). and yeah ive been practicing on easing and physics lately, so i th8ink i did the bounce right. but yeah i guess the speed is wrong, and i need more easing. to be honest i think i rushed the ending. and i did make it roll at the end on purpose. do you think i should leave that out?
