Manasseh's Hints and Tips in animating

Ok, first of all before anyone tells me that they already know these things, i intend to make this thread for noobs who have got the hang of using flash but can look here to know a few hints and tips when animating and using flash.

1.) Know your keyboard shortcuts
It would be very useful to know the keyboard shortcuts when using flash because it makes it more flexible when animating, it saves you the trouble of having to go to the toolabars and click on the tool you need.

Here are a few to help you:

B: Brush tool
N: Line tool
F: Gradient transforming tool
K: Fill tool
O: Oval tool
R: Rectangle tool
E : Erasor tool
S: Ink bottle tool
T: Text tool
Y: Pencil tool
(these are useful for when you want to view
your last frame in an instant)
, : Go back one frame
. : Go forward one frame

2.) Save sound effects in a .fla

You can pretty much see that this saves you time importing sounds when you need them.

3.) Screen too small?

Go large! Press F4

4.) Zooming in

This will help you to do those very fine details in your animation,
so use this to your advantage.
By the way, the shortcuts for zooming are:
Zoom in : CTRL +
Zoom out : CTRL -

5.) Get used to a way of animating

Most people i think use the head first style of animating sticks,
but just pick the one thats ok with you, i myself do head first now,
but you dont have to copy me, body first is another option if you want.

And thats it for my hints and tips, i hope this helps all you noobs out there that dont know these things yet
and well.....keep animating!! :)
