do you lift between body segments? or do you draw in one motion with hard edges?
i'm still fuddling with the shotty knee overlaps with my tablet

First, i put the head...then i draw the torso, then i draw 1 leg in one motion. and the other leg like said so. and also the arms.....
i put my smoothness to "0" so it's easier to give the knees a hard bend.....sometimes i draw each body part, but only if it's very detailed work :D
i hope it helped, im not exactly sure what u meant :D

i'll give that a try.
what i've been doing is starting with the crotch (center of mass) and drawing the body up, then i always draw the "front" leg first, then the other leg.
arms are usually last as well. and the head i just keyframe on another layer
