Many players come to this forum seeking a single strategy that will best all others. There isn't one. Well not any single strategy, but there are a few that correspond with a few elements. I'll remind you again, of the elements to victory

ECONOMY

Make sure you have enough gold to buy strong units and enable early attacks.

COMMAND

Command is extremely important in a game. Think of current wars in the 21st Century. There's no use for 200 of the best snipers if the commander sends them to fist-fight the enemy, is there? Same thing in Stick Empires. Maneuver the controls in the game correctly, and you will be at a great advantage. For example, Electric Wall for Magikill to kill the front line, of Shield Wall for Speartons.

ARMY

As I said before, having the correct combination of soldiers will win you the battle.

There are 2 elements your army is based on.

A. Map Length

The length of a map is very important when you decide which units to use. I'm sure many of us have read DarknessLight's strategy for Giant Spammers? Yes, it [I]does[I] work but only for long maps. On a short map, the Giants could take control of the center and kill your miners while you gather your army, and a Spearton rush would be easy to defend against because the Giants only have a short distance to travel. Yes, I will admit that using 6 Giants is not defeat able on a short map, the Giants could easily go back to Garrison to cure poison. On a LONG map however, it'd be easy for your opponent to poison you and kill your Giants as they try to walk back.

B. Enemy Army

Try to look at your opponent's army, use Tower Spawn to scout. If your enemy's army is full of Spearton, use Albowtross since Spearton can't hit them. Against Magikill behind a Shield Wall, use Giants and Archers ON A SHORT MAP. That's why it's also useful to keep part of your army, NOT the entire army in Garrison. If you keep your entire army in Garrison the enemy could kill your Miners with a hit-and-run strategy.

THEORY

This is only a theory, I've never tried it in practice against a Giant Spammer. Don't blame me if it doesn't work. Okay so here it goes:

Giants have a problem in NUMBERS since they take so much population. At best you could maybe get 6 or 7 Giants. 4 Spearton can take down a Giants, mind you but that's not what I have in mind. Since Giants are low in numbers, I was thinking of spamming SwordWrath because Giants can only get 6 of them at a time, and they load quickly. Then get all of them to rush to the statue.

3 SwordWrath can defeat a Spearton. Why? Not because of health, a single Spearton's health is more than all of them combined. No, because of NUMBERS. 3 attacking weapons can defeat a single weapon because it causes more damage. Therefore, 30 or so SwordWrath can MAYBE destroy a statue in a matter of seconds.

Try it out and tell me in comments below!

Bad. Bad idea. Also, you are just theoryocrafting. I've tried this type of strategy before, and it is just not at all effective. Also, it can often take so long to get that many swordwrath that you would be better off mining more and getting some mana with 1-2 miners and having 6-8 miners mine gold.

The point of this is to make an army of both Swordwrath and Speartons. Also you can include some of the archers, both flying, and the ones on the ground, for some support. The strategy here is to make the swordwrath and speartons rush to the Statue and kill it while your archers distract the giants and any other units your opponent may have. This one is tried and true, not just theoryocrafting.

Actually a spearton's health is equivalent to 3 swordwrath's health. I fought an opponent that had an army that was as big as mine, but when he charged, he rushed to the statue( note that I did not spam giants and I was using Chaos). I managed to stop to take out his army and my statue was 1-2 hits before being destroyed( really close call ).
So it's better to rush at the statue if the opponent is giant massing than rushing when the opponent has a variety of enemy units.

3 Swords = 1 Spearton, but spear cost 50 mana more. But still I know what your trying to say about 30 swords attacking a statue but, wouldn't they have a castle archer or something?

Yes, I suppose that is true. It was just a theory, after all.

Well, a castle archer wouldn't have enough time to kill ALL of them.

That is actually what I was saying, only when the entire army is Giants.

Don't double post :(. Well 3 castle archers could easily finish 30 swordsmen before the statue is dead. Especially if you have walls and resilence and MINER DEFENSEEE!!!

In my experience, if you don't do many early attacks your opponent won't really build walls. Although Resilience could be a problem. Say, how do you activate Resilience after buying it anyways? Is it through Merics?

actually now that a spearton has 6 health bars it can kill 3 swordwraths together with one health bar remaining. i've tested this and that's why i dont use 3 swordwraths any more. (i'm not sure who will win if the swordwraths have rage though)

It's the first research upgrade in the Meric building.

resilience is a passive upgrade, and affects your statue basicallty the same way giant upgrades work(but without the size increase) Someone once said that it gives 1.5x health but I dont know for sure.

More than one person has said that. I've been reading the older posts in this forum :p. I know Triss and I each have.

Bro, we need a strategy cmon. This does not help in anyway as we are all pretty good at this game :D

As I said, there isn't any one dominant strategy. Did something get changed when I was banned? Anyways, the army you use depends on the enemy's army and the map you're on.

Is Miner Tower the same thing as Miner Wall? Where can you find Miner Tower I don't see it in the research building.

Huh why did you quote that one??? Btw miner tower is chaos equivalent of miner wall, only for chaos players. Apparently sucks, little damage, low health, doesn't stop people from passing it

Really? I could have 2-3 swordwraths survived, using some PRO skills :3

DragonFrost

:Pro skills!!, obviously when one sword is almost dead you pull him back, if the spearton chases you run while other 2 swords PWN it. If he stays, send him to join the battle again, right?

Yes, but your PRO skills involve a bit of outdated information...

Or maybe an attack one on one? In that case, (well I don't actually use the Spearton strategy) the Spearton could attack the weak one continuously and would be even MORE effective.

Have a nice day :)
