Thanks, or maybe they need to add this feature.

I agree, I would like to see this feature added.

Maybe they could auto-delete accounts that have been inactive for longer than 60 days. Maybe some accounts could get an exception, like the developer's accounts (since they probably don't get to play much) and gold membership accounts.

This is a terrible idea, I see no good point in this.

The ONLY way an account should be deleted is with email address and password input to send and email to confirm deletion which brings you back onto ur SE profile with multiple boxes saying.

DO YOU WISH TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT? y/n
THIS WILL REMOVE ALL CUSTOM ARMOUR AND ECOINS y/n
etc

And it should say "This account can be logged into in the next 10 days and cancel deletion"

Any other sub section and you would surely be infracted for the bump.

Is it really needed though? Inactive accounts will fall off the top 100 list eventually regardless of activity now.

I would like to see this as a feature.

I usually try to get back-stories for the things going on in the help thread, and since I can't answer that I can at least bring up a suggestion here.

If you made the account for your son, you used your email for it, correct? Most things with passwords seem to have ways to change them, so hypothetically if the chat box did become too filthy for you kid, you could just change the password and not tell your him/her the new one.

Holy nut balls, Gale and killerpixel?

But I'm not sure people should be able to re-use the deleted user name, because people can abuse deleting their accounts then remaking it if they are trying
to achieve like a flawless top 100 challenge on a certain account.

But this does sound like a good future feature

nice feature though

usually the only way for me to ditch my account is to drop my rating manually , no other method.

Honestly I don't see the point of deleting an account.

I agree, there isn't a point in adding this feature, auto deleting accounts is the worst idea ever. I mean, just be careful when making your account.

I agree with both of you, there isn't really a sole purpose in deleting your account.

Yeah there is, to delete your account.

You might want to get rid of your traces on the game. Not like you really could, people would remember you anyway.
You might then just want to leave the leader boards, but that will happen automatically eventually, and there's always manual dropping.

Also, if deleting your account could be done with a few clicks, then stolen accounts would suddenly become much more of an issue.

The only other use besides deleting an account for deleting an account that I could think of is for alts. Like when people start to figure out who you are and you can just delete it, maybe an account like dolphinjuice42.

Dolphinjuice42 is the greatest player of all time, it's shame he'd ragequit after only 2 losses.

Care to explain what purpose is there on deleting your account?

Dolphinjuice42, one of many failed experiments to achieve the ratio of 100/0

He did actually achieve 100/0. Then he decided to play again and lost his first game. Funny, really.

nutsophast

Really? I saw his ratio with 99 wins and 1 loss, maybe it was a bug with the leaderboards. I like how WyzDM thinks of really absurd names for these kind of accounts.

I heard another story, but i'm not gonna say it. Wyz earned it fair and square.

Let down.

Dolphinjuice42 was the guy who kicked my ass like 5 times in a row on my alt

It was probably just a bug with the leaderboards then, Wyz is good enough to achieve that.

Then how about just saying it, instead of just insinuating it but not really not giving us any info at all?

nutsophast
11-03-2014, 12:55 AM
Was this directed at me?

Nyarlathotep
11-03-2014, 01:42 AM
Think for a second: Were you insinuating anything? Was your post vague? No, it wasn't. Now think about the post directly above Ai's. Was it clear? Was it giving any information?
