The latest 1.46 patch is excellent. I haven't played a game with it yet, but reading it is promising. A flying unit nerf, an enslaved giant nerf, a castle archer nerf and a magikill buff. Also the server being more strict with laggers! This is a great patch balance wise and lag-wise.

Some things they didn't fix: The out of sync stuff, not able to do colon in chat during game, also when there is lag forfiet countdown it goes by 2's and it should be fixed. I've played two games after the patch i lost both for no reason. If they were stricter on lag, there should be a warning of a few seconds, and there wasn't any lagging on the second one, whats up with this? otherwise, everything else is great

Im pretty sure the lag count going down by 2 is because of lag :P
The lag pauses it and therefore you only see increments of two, taking two seconds per increment.

Nerf means weakening something to make it more balanced. Enslaved giant damage was reduced, castle archers have less splash damage and flying units take longer to build. Magikill and medusa take less mana.

Well I don't like the weakening on Giant since my army I try to get

3 Giants (Tanks)
3 Allbowtrosses
4 Swords (for ground units that are my opponent's tanks, such as Spearton, ShadowWrath, Magikill, etc)
1 Healer
1 Magikill

I usually avoid Spearton and ShadowWrath unless the game is VERY close. Archidon, I may have one left from beginning.

Now, with the buff to mana cost for both cahos and order casters, its much easier for chaos to nicely hard counter magikill, since OUR counter to their caster is shinobi lvl 2 which does not even KO....

Perfect for chaos users like me. Medusa can now be bought earlier :). And the magikill are kinda useless on the field with medusa cause she can petrify while he is casting a spell

Wait, they can petrify Magikill? That's a huge disadvantage for Order, that shouldn't be allowed. Order pays a lot for Magikill. And I have a question about Petrify, does it do that for the unit right in front of it, or can you select any unit to Petrify? Within any range?

You select a unit to predict and it has pretty long range but if the unit runs out of that range, well, Medusa has a very slow movement speed.

But the shinobi will leave a medusa with practically 1 health point poisoned, and I'm 90% sure it kills a marrowkai if not does the same deal. It's enough, let's put it that way.

And this is 1 ninja. The unit itself is also cheaper, the resources however take a little bit. But that's a 1 time buy. You can make more of these for less and faster than medusas.

Yeah. Order is actually quite powerful. Ninja is the only one in Order I dont use. I use all of them. Mostly my army consists of spearton (reliable tanker), swords (more damage), archer (long range), Albatross (Heavy damage), Mage (Aoe Damage, Poison), Meric (Healing), Giant (Alba protector)

Don't think so, medusa can instant kill.... while ninja is just doing massive damage, it is different
Medusa is stronger


P.S. Why every new patches are so awesome XD?

You know what, nerf Medusa for being to petrify flying units because sunrays when.stared directly can hurt your eye XD And also nerf Medusa for being able to petrify spellcasters including herself.

Nerf medusa for it's spell cooldown, time making cooldown, and pops, gold and mana cost higher.
Also petrify need a cost (20 Mana)

What's the word for opposite of nerf? I want to make medusa even more Op:

0 second cool down for petrify
No cost for petrify
1 hit KO everything INCLUDING giants
Moves faster than ninja
Has Hp of lvl 3 giant
cost 50 gold to buy a medusa :D

Wouldnt that be so fun?

It should have reverted you back to the lobby page saying your opponent has timed out, but that was causing more bugs so it was taken away until later.

Stone Face/Petrify costs 50 mana and has a 28 second cooldown (2 seconds less than how long it takes to spawn a Magikill/Medusa & A few seconds longer than it takes a ghost to spawn).

The research is 600 - 200 - 27 and it takes 17 seconds before the unit dies before it spawns again.

So, castle dead were acepted as weak, the strengthening of castle dead gave then a bit more damage - but now they drain mana when poisoning!
I dont like that, mana is often a key component in building units, so losing it even a bit, if a big weakening effect, not a help - as if they weren't crap enough to start with :(

It also means that if you dont have any mana, they dont poison.

When are you MOST likely to be without mana?
When he's on your base, and your miners are garisoned - but unless he's on your base you cant even use castle dead, as they ONLY attack units on your base.
Hrmm....

In game chat Tec said this was a bug, not an intended effect. It will be put right.
