First one was cool, second was kinda hard to follow. But still cool.

The only flaw I see is that since the red stick is closer to the screen he should be bigger then the blue one unless the hes like a giant.

The first one makes conceptual sense, but the attack having missed, there are many other ways that it would have been clearer and more effective, such as going behind the blue character, further emphasizing the miss.
The second angle made significantly less sense, as I could neither tell what kind of perspective you were trying to accomplish, nor what attack actually occured.
Try to work on making oyur angles clearer and easy to follow, even if you have to cut down on the intricacy of it a bit.
Also, as previously stated, try to work on your perspective
Study anime animators and such, read up about it, it'll help in the long run, even if you dont immediately understand.
