View Full Version : The Shadow-Lith Competition (Huge DD.org Collaboration)

I asked Xero where to post finished collabs, and he told me anything that is Pivot-related belongs in the pivot section.
I'm creating a seperate topic for this because it's not just my animation, it's a huge collaboration animated by a variety of Darkdemon.org's best Veteran and Intermediate animators!|

Plot: Shadow-Lith (Which is my normal Lithium base coloured white) has been consumed by his darker, more destructive side, and is creating havok to Darkdemon. He needs to be stopped by an intermediate on Darkdemon.org, because all the veteran + elite animators have failed. Each intermediate was assigned the task of creating an animation to beat Shadow-Lith, the best intermediate won the competition and won a $50 dollar ebay prize of his choosing!

Powers shadow-lith has:
Increased Speed/Shadow-teleportation,
Stronger attacks, more agressive fighting style then Normal-Lithium,
Very tricky, unpredictable!

Organized by Lithium (Me)
Compiled by Stickid
Winner - Phazon

I really appreciate you guys watching this, a lot of effort was spent into organizing this! My animation is at the end btw ;)

Haha, wow. Very well done! Looks like it would've taken a lot of skill and time to create something up to par with something like this in Pivot. I acknowledge the effort the animation seems to have been put into.

Great work.

It has always amazed me how much more devotion the community on Darkdemon seems to have to collaborations like this compared most other flash communities I've encountered. The ratio of successful collabs seems to be a lot better there than for us who are used to using a program that has a much larger potential for longer productions and bigger projects then pivot does.
The collab was quite good. While I find that no-one did anything exceptionally creative everyone all delivered good parts that did the assignment well. I do dislike the music, but that is something up to personal choice and not really a reason to criticize for.
