Just finished reading a book from way back when. By the name of 1984.
I enjoyed it up until the ending, which disappointed me heavily. I won't spoil it, just in case someone that spots this thread decides to read it next. (though I doubt that'll happen, I'll stay on the safe side to be sure)
It's over 50 years old, and is still the lasting image of the negative utopia. Your thoughts?

I have never read it, but I keep hearing about it.

Meeeh, maybe I'll pick it up.

God damn, why are all of your posts so annoying?

I've heard good things about it and most of the people here seem to like it, so I may pick it up some day.

I read it.

Was good.

Like a mental orgasm.

Ending did suck. Was depressing.

bonk, you should consider it. Very good read, even though the ending sucks majorly. (as Schwa reiterates)
Although there was a lot about it I still haven't figured out myself, it would suck if that is what our world would be heading to. Very depressing indeed.

Y'know, I don't have a clue who you were originally, since I'm assuming that isn't the first of your accounts, but, I hate you none-the-less.
Note: The joke wasn't funny.
No hard feelings.

I started reading it, it was pretty good. I shall look for it and finish reading it. I never seem to be able to finish a book.

Chimaera's fun fact of the day: The correct term for a "negative utopia" as you call it, is dystopia.

1984 was perfect. I was dissapointed with the ending too but I realize that was the only way it could end. Really leaves an impression though. Best book I've read.
