    eSports, oh God no...

Well whatever, someone already took counter-strike... But I'm assuming it can be taken up again?

    Here's my game:
    Vainglory

or just all about the game
I need clarification on this as well.
But the title clearly has the name eSports on it.
Sooo.. yeah, should we include the actual people playing it or just the idea of it being a competitive match between two opposing teams?

I think this is the overlying theme here. Whether or not you want to add the hype and audience is up to you.

I see, also can we make the players full-body/cartoons while the game itself focuses on stick-figures?
Since the animation would definitely focus on the game then the game should be composed of stick figures.
But the player scenes would be only cutscenes and I can best express the expressiona when it's not stick figure.

I don't think I understand the statement, I don't know what the word "meta" means.
I searched up its definition, is it "You can be as creative as you want"?

Perhaps the best way to express my question is this.
Do we have to make something like this?

    EDIT:
Analyzing guramecon and Arch-Angel's statements, they're saying that it doesn't need an audience nor is it necessary to show the players.
Also, it is alright to animate only the game. A multiplayer game.

However, wouldn't it just end up like another game tribute if you don't show the players and the audience?

Well, at least I won't screw myself over with the music choice now.

    StarCraft: BroodWar

technically yes, but it depends with the participants whether they choose to be the meta itself or animate within the animation world.
But this theme is focusing the multiplayer competition (eSport), you can say this is Competition Multiplayer Game Tribute Legion lol.

LMAO, I first thought it was an adjective, now it's used as a noun. I don't know how to comprehend the word "meta" anymore lol. That's why I chose to ignore it XD

    Ah, I see. lololol

Wait, since this doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be in an official competition setup with all the announcers and audience and prize pools, that means I can animate friends doing a friendly competition in, per say, an internet cafe, right? Still eSports.
