Kaiban only has so much ammunition that he brings with him, and once that is expended he loses the ability to participate in ranged combat.
Yes, but he still has everything else. In fact, since he is called "The Medium" it seems like this is a limit to a pretty secondary ability.

Kaiban lacks superhuman strength, agility, or endurance.
Regular people tend to not have those either so this is moot. He also doesn't use a minigun, power armour or earthbending.

Give the dude some actual weaknesses, would you? What flat-out halts his medium abilities?

I think a lot of it is limited by presence of the undead/the abilities of Walden's brief manifestations. Personally, I'd argue that the guns are the primary, Walden and communication with him supports. Like, if I was the Polack, my primary power wouldn't be speaking Polish, even in a Polish environment. Most of my limitations would be from my Polack buddies' skills, as well as my ball kicking abilities. Now that you mention it though, I suppose I would like that gun stuff further defined. If we're looking at a total of 112 bullets, is Kaiban a good shot? Wildfire was something of a monster if I recall, but is he cool with capping just some guy?

Also, Sandman has had his tweaks, just missing his demo. Did you want to fight-fight, in which case I'll work on it, or not fight-fight, in which case shoot me a PM

Can the spirits grab sentient lifeforms? Like can you order the soul to strangle some person or hold them down? Or do they need to possess a medium, such as a metal pipe or rope to do such things?

Do souls of the killed follow their killer? Is there a time limit to how long a soul will haunt their killer? Because this Abra is a continuation of the past Abra, and the past Abra killed a lot of people.

Do these souls look exactly like they do when they were killed or do they revert back to their normal selves?

If these souls have been following the killer for a long time, do they change their information based on any change in the killer or do they only remember how they themselves were killed? EG if I kill someone with a baseball bat and then I start shooting people, will the soul who got killed by a baseball bat tell you to he was killed by a baseball bat but now I use a gun or just that he was killed by a baseball bat?

I am prepared to meet my maker.
Whether or not he's prepared to meet me....
well that's another matter, isn't it?
    Spoiler for Infinite Battle:

Rather late on answering these, but:

    Can spirits grab sentients?
No. I'm going to expand this to essentially having difficulty interacting with something that would require, say, much in the way of hand-eye coordination. Pulling a lever only requires them to be able to focus on the simple mechanism of the lever. They would not be able to catch a ball that was thrown at them.

Thrown objects take some time to actually work out how to project the item.

Their interactions with items are, in a sense, them possessing the item that they are interacting with. However, they are incapable of maintaining much force. So, to go back to the lever example, if someone else were resisting the lever being pulled down, the spirit would lose every time.

Some souls follow their killers. That's up to your discretion. Guideline I've been going by is that there's a kind of middle ground in the strength of spirits. The very weak (extras, mooks, etc.) disperse shortly after dying. The very powerful may have their own relative notions of what they want. Mostly, I imagined any spirits being interacted with to be site-bound ones, ghosts that died with something keeping them bound to a place (or an object, perhaps.) Abra could qualify as a site.

How a ghost appears is up to you. Personally, I imagined ghosts as having malleable forms. The easiest form to maintain is the appearance that they held upon their death. Stronger spirits are capable of altering their appearances to look like their normal selves, as you've said. But it requires a constant focus, or else they slip back.

As for whether a spirit is paying attention to changes, I'm going to say probably not. Reasoning being spirits in death are locked into what they were in death (the exception being the very powerful spirits, main characters and prominent side characters, generally.) They can briefly break out of their cycles, when an external force interacts, but otherwise they are relatively cyclic, and that includes the kind of information that they're aware of and capable of explaining.

So, if a spirit that had been haunting Abra for some time were asked what Abra did to kill, they would answer how they were killed (or perhaps what they knew of Abra before they were killed, if they were some kind of well-researched would-be hunter).

Oops. I just realized that I've had "Kaiba vs Abra" the entire time for the scheduled battle. Guess I'll need to scrap this piece and write something about the rich kid trying and failing repeatedly to catch an Abra on one of the Pokemon games.
