The air calmed down and the night outside of the Dancing Horseman felt unnaturally quiet. Thalia opened her eyes but was still leaning up against Atlas when Lavernius came rushing from the door. "She can handle herself, y'know," was all she got out until before the sound of Faye's scream and cry for help broke the silence. Atlas, her not so comfy pillow, came to life and ran off to it's master. She stood up lazily and accompanied Lavernius out into the street where they could see the legionnaires moving in toward Faye. Thalia grabbed onto Lavernius' shirt and tugged on it to keep him in place, "she is a Thaa'nas, Mr. Mylarc. She has Atlas and several legionnaire's are moving in to aid her. It's best if we stay on the sidelines for now." Faye would be fine, but Thalia was having a hard time shaking this feeling in her gut. There was too much happening too soon in Salvation Point. She just had to make it through the festival, and then she would disappear again.

Faye smiled faintly through the tears. A spark of hope.

With Ravhin breathing and alive again...for now at least, and Atlas on her side the panic slowly began to cease, clearing space for more reasonable thoughts in her mind. The girl sniffed and wiped her face with a sleeve, slightly adjusting her position. Still holding the blood soaked material with one hand, she flicked her wrist and the gems were thrown into the air, snapping to their designated place in Atlas' skull turning the automaton into a walking spotlight. "Atlas, flip this man on his back, carefully...Then sentry." The Thaa'nas ordered and pointed at the other body and even when the automaton moved, there was still plenty of light for her to work with. Judging by his position there was probably nothing she could've done for him anyway, but still she wouldn't forgive herself if he was in fact alive and she haven't even checked.

Faye frowned. Her magic seemed to work, but hasn't been yielding quite expected results. There must've been something else underneath. "Crap..." The girl began to remove Ravhin's coat, carefully but deftly, and then the shirt. If it wasn't buttoned, she'd try to rip it open to move the man the least amount possible. With that done, Faye began to search for any additional damages on man's body, and she would still try to maintain the spell, or at least the pressure over already known wounds in the process of doing so. She'd also try to check his back, gently turning him on his side and back if nothing was found.

I should probably try and find something interesting to put in here...

Lavernius opened his mouth, trying to explain that he just wanted to be sure she would be fine. When the young woman screamed Lavernius wanted to run to her side but was stopped by Illaya and by Atlas' sudden activation. As he listened to Illaya's reasoning he sighed, she was right, what could he do that legionnaires and Atlas couldn't? "You're right... it'll be better to not get involved. I guess I'm just getting a bit too paranoid. Perhaps I should have another drink. Want me to grab you something?"

I am prepared to meet my maker.
Whether or not he's prepared to meet me....
well that's another matter, isn't it?

Faye Petralis, the Plaza of the Monolith
The legionnaires approached and stopped at the scene, wary of the golem who suddenly shone its eyes on them.

"Quickly, we must bring them to the Temple," one of the legionnaires suggested. "Only their healing would be able to help them now."
    a
Another approached Faye slowly and inspected what she was doing. "I do not think will need to yet... You are Thaa'nas as well," the legionnaire muttered whose voice sounded female under the helmet's darkness. "Has your healing stopped all the bleeding?"

Faye couldn't answer immediately, as her initial thoughts were still on locating the rest of the wounds. She ripped the man's shirt open and found one at his lower back. She suspected this was the first strike.

"There is another body," said another. "This one is dead. Unfortunate."

Thalia Valgeiros & Lavernius Mylarc, the Dancing Horseman
Thalia and Lavernius could make out Atlas' spotlight shine on the legionnaires, their movements went towards Faye, investigating the events. It seemed it was being handled, whatever happened.

From the corner of Thalia's eye, she spotted someone at the rooftops. The man's sillouette seemed to stare down at the scene. Was it just another shadow? Or was it real?

The door to the inn opened and then was shut, someone had entered the Dancing Horseman.

    Marianna Laranis, the Dancing Horseman
Through the open door of the inn, came in a familiar face Mari had wanted to hear from but not this early. The legionnaires recognized him as the lone drunkard from early that day but the crime boss of the Twin Fangs knew him as her trusted lieutenant.

The legionnaires paid him no heed as he made the approach, too busy with their drinks or looking at other possible dangers.

Hunter sat a chair beside Mari.

"I apologize fer earlier this morning, lass, didn't mean to pass out on ye," he said. "Rough night, i tell ya. Twins were missing from their cribs and the old man told me to scram. My boy and girl, well, they were precious, found their friends and gathered them today. Told them to play nice but be quiet about it, neighbor might complain. 'Ey, A mug please, thanks."

"They may pass, Atlas" Faye ordered without turning around, and the golem brought its guard down and heavily stepped to the side, letting them through.

"Im not really s-...Damn it. You, come here and help me, please." Faye addressed the closest, feminine sounding Legionnaire that just asked her. "Hold him on his side, shoulders straight, chest may not touch the ground, press this against the wounds. Rest of you; Whoever did this should not be far away." The Thaa'nas' voice even if high pitched and slightly trembling, had a peculiar authority to it. It sounded much unlike the one she used back at the Izukani Quarter. "Increase the patrol, perhaps inform someone above you. If he or she was capable of dispatching two Thaa'nas at once, he's dangerous or there's more of them...I've got this under control...I think." As the girl kept talking, rest of her attention was focused on staunching the flow on Ravhin's back, using her magic and his ripped shirt.

As soon as all the bleeding has relatively stopped, Faye would once more look for any other wounds. "We need to get him to the hospital..." She muttered, before frowning deeply and looking at the near dead body cogitatively, collecting her thoughts. It was no mugging or random bump in the night. Clink of coin in Ravhin's pocket confirmed that. Besides, no simple bandit had enough guts to jump a Thaa'nas, all the less get away with it. Whoever did this wanted them both dead. "No...not the hospital. Somewhere safe. Atlas, come here. Copy." The Thaa'nas carefully placed Ravhin's body down on his back and got up, facing the approaching automaton. She extended her forearm, palm flat up and then slowly lowered it, keeping the straight angle. Golem copying the movement did the same, pretty much placing his pillar-like arm on the ground. "Stay. You...Im sorry what's your name?" Help me pick him up, and place there. Gently. The cloth has to remain in between." Faye ordered the female guard that was to stay with her and help, then grabbed the man's both legs past his knees, ready to raise him up. She would have Atlas do the lifting, if not for the need of delicacy the situation required.

Definitely not without struggle on Faye's part, Ravhin was placed on Atlas' massive forearm like on a stretcher. It wasn't comfortable, but it was stable and safer than just dragging him with two, three people. "Thank you, Im going to transport him to the Dancing Horseman and finish my tending. Its much closer than the Temple and there is a Legion's unit already there. They will be informed of the situation and you may return to your duty..." Faye nodded the guard off, and began to move in the direction of the inn alongside Atlas, keeping her palm on Ravhin's chest to maintain her spell. Once they were to leave the alleyway and step back into street light, golem's lights would turn off.

Thalia looked up at Lavernius and gave him a polite smile, "there's nothing wrong with caring for others. It's one of your more charming characteristics." She turned her head to where Atlas and the legionnaires were now going in to help. She could hear Faye's voice directing people and giving orders, though it was still pretty distant. The thaa'nas would be fine, though Thalia could swear there was a slight cracking to the short woman's voice.

It didn't take her long to notice the figure on the roof, too far and shrouded in darkness to see clearly, but her altered eyes could definitely pick up on the silhouette of someone. "I think that is a splendid idea, Mr. Mylarc. If you could get us another round and bring them to your room, I'll fetch Faye and bring her along. If you don't mind, that is." Thalia gave Lavernius a look that really insisted on him doing what she asked.

She would wait until Lavernius went back inside. If he went back inside, she would make her way to the nearest alley and scale the side of the building next to the Dancing Horseman and then work her way over towards the shadowed man. It was probably nothing, but Thalia's paranoia had to satiated. Her clothes would give her the agility needed, but she would take extra care to stay out of sight from the people down below.

"You flatter me." Lavernius smiled back, "Faye probably would need a drink, good idea. And I don't mind at all, I do mind a bit more that you're calling me something as formal as Mr. Mylarc." He chuckled."I'll be waiting in my room then." And with a curt bow, the man made his way inside. He approached the bar and gave a polite wave to get the bartender's attention. "Hello ma'am, I would like a flagon of spiced wine and two pints... no it would be safer to call for four pints of ale please. A platter would be much appreciated as well." Lavernius placed a few coins on the counter to pay for the drinks. He would take the drinks and carry them back to the room and wait, perhaps spend the free time gazing at the stars. Balancing the platter on one hand, the artist weaved his way through the crowd and broke into a slight canter up the stairs and down the hall until he walked into his room. He placed the drinks on the desk and took off his ascot, vest, and dress shirt, stripping down to the simple shirt underneath while he hung the other articles of clothing in his wardrobe. Then taking his flagon of wine, he walked out into the fresh air and relaxed, waiting for the girls to arrive.

The Mari glanced around, sipping on ale, when Hunter joined her at the counter. Mari knew to keep their conversation lowkey, staring into a blank space as the two conversed. The leader of the Fangs was intent in extrapolating from Hunter as much information about what happened the previous day.

"So, let's start from the beginning: when the Leg was broken into, what happened exactly?"

With a smile, Thalia shrugged and released the man. It wasn't about being formal, but referring to him as such just felt natural to her. Perhaps it was because he was always acting like such a gentleman to everyone and deserved respect, or perhaps it was for some other reason Thalia didn't dare to entertain. Not now, at least. When Lavernius disappeared back inside the Horseman, Thalia quickly moved to the side of the building and grabbed onto whatever she could. She climbed the side of the Dancing Horseman with such feline grace it probably would have seemed quite elegant to any spectators, which she made sure there weren't any before ascending to the rooftops.

The pills and alcohol were starting to weigh on her a bit as she blinked several times, regaining focus in her eyes. Thalia had done dirtier jobs in worse circumstances. Stalking about the rooftops of a sleeping town would be nothing more than a breath of fresh air for her honed body as she made her way towards where she spotted the silhouette. She took extra care to avoid the front and back ends of the buildings. It would only complicate things further if someone saw her, so she took extra caution to avoid the alleyway where Faye was. Gods know the Thaa'nas would have even more questions if she spied Thalia on a roof, a smile creased her lips at the thought of such an interrogation.

Marianna Laranis, the Dancing Horseman | First Floor
Hunter sniffed as the mug came to his reach. "After you sent me out, I didn't look back. I saw Filian and the crew; nothing odd about them at that time so I paid them no attention. Only when the legionnaires started to pour in did I see something had gone awry. They surrounded the inn, Thaa'nas at several points. Even if I had gotten the guys, we wouldn't stand a chance." The lieutenant drank some of the ale and set the mug down gently. "I met up with Takeo and the girl, told me of Filian's betrayal. I tried to search for other trustworthy guys but I can't really for sure right now."

Hunter stopped for a moment as a man passed them by, carrying with him a tray of drinks with a single hand. He looked at the purple haired man, suspiciously before finally speaking again.

"Guys a show off. Anyway, things are bleak here, Mari, it seems we'll lose this territory very soon." Hunter looked to Mari, curious. "How are things on your side?"

Thalia Valgeiros, the Plaza of the Monolith | Rooftops
Climbing onto the rooftops was nothing new to her, it was as if her body simply knew where to place her limbs and before she knew it, she was atop the building. The cool moonlit night bathed the town in a pale light. The retired assassin leapt onto another rooftop, as her eyes tagged the suspicious siloughette as the target. She could tell it was watching the scene unfold in the alley, its inky form outlined by the lunar light. With that, she raced towards it, hoping to reach it before it leaves while another hopes its just one of the voices in her head.

Yes, silence it. Silence it, Thalia! The voice screeched.

As she came closer, the shadow's features grew more prominent, more human like. The shadow seemed to wear a mask over his mouth, covering half his face. Thalia knew from there, there was something more to Salvation Point. He raised a weapon, what looked to be a crossbow, and waited. Taking a peek below, she could see Faye was returning to the inn with an escort of two legionnaires and someone on Atlas' arm.

Faye was wide open, Thalia realized.

Faye Petralis, the Plaza of the Monolith | Alleyway
"My name's Trivana," the legionnaire replied as Faye finished commanding Atlas. Trivana positioned herself at the end of Ravhin's feet. "All right, one the count of three. One.."

The legionnaire and the Thaa'nas heaved Ravhin onto Atlas' arm without fault. Trivana nodded slowly, a bit of protest gone as the legionnaire looked over to the other behind her who simply nodded at Faye's suggestion to bring Ravhin to the inn. "If you are sure, Thaa'nas, then all right."

"Trivana, Reevus go to the inn and ask for some hands to guard the remaining body then leave for cleanup; notify the Lord Commander as well," Another legionnaire barked, whom Faye assumed was the squad leader. "We'll search the perimeter."

The soldiers saluted. The squad leader and the other legionnaire began to move, scouting the area while Trivana and Reevus accompanied Faye to the inn.

Lavernius Mylarc, the Dancing Horseman | Second Floor
As he claimed the alcohol from the bar, Lavernius had passed by the woman whom Erenzo had brought and the man she was with. He didn't recognize the man, however, though it was possible that it was simply Erenzo's messenger. It didn't matter to him in the slightest anyway.

Going up to his room, the artist awaited the two women. He stood by the balcony to get some fresh air. It didn't take long for Faye to come around with Atlas and two legionnaires alongside her, the golem's footsteps were more than an indication. It would have been fine though if he hadn't noticed the huge stains of blood all over Faye's clothes.
