"Thank you, you too..." Faye nodded acknowledging the empty compliment and then remained silent, eyeing the woman skeptically waiting for her to be done. "As people say, only guilty feel a need to explain themselves, no?"

"Funny I'm the one to say it..."

The girl smiled awkwardly, but there was something mischievous about it. She raised her open palms in a gesture that could be either read as calming one down or surrendering, and closed her eyes for a moment. "It's okay. We're all adults here, and I have no rights to judge who does what with who...What Im gonna judge and hate however is being lied to, and being treated like a child, so please..." Faye put down her arms and continued without giving them a chance to retaliate. She kept her voice low, the whole inn didn't need to know after all. "Lets just clear the air right now and get the facts straight. The room was dark and smelled of put down candles. Half dressed, panting Lavernius bolted out of the bathroom as soon as he heard my voice, almost ramming me in the process and inside were You, barely done covering yourself up." The girl counted on her fingers and then paused, looking first at Lavernius, then at Illaya. "Also given your 'profession' and what I've seen so far it is no shocker how you work on, and play with men..."

    "...And women..."

"...Plus there's the fact of how plastered both of you got yesterday...So, say what you want, but I really won't buy a story that you guys played checkers in there, and it will hurt my pride and feelings if you continue on that." Faye shrugged and chuckled, raising her finger. "But... Im not gonna delve deeper into any of this if you just stay honest with me." The girl almost held her breath in anticipation. This right here may as well cost her her new acquaintances, but it was risk she was willing to take. For her own sake.

Only guilty feel a need to explain themselves. Thalia turned on her heel and marched back down the hallway to Faye. She stared at the woman blankly, letting her words go in one ear and out the other. "Are you done? Is that all?" Thalia huffed and shook her head, "I figured I would give you a sober explanation since the situation was rather awkward and I would rather have squashed it painlessly rather than to drag things out, but if you want to drag them out, fine." Her words were practically laced with venom, "you're right. I was coming onto Lavernius pretty strongly because of some pills that I took a few hours prior, and Gods he was doing everything he could to resist me while also trying to help me sober up because the poor man is a gentleman. You showed up just in time to keep both of us from doing something that we would regret," her eyes moved to Lavernius, sincere but still rather pissed off. Thalia looked back at Faye, "don't you dare make assumptions of me and my character. Excuse me for not disclosing every detail to an entitled Thaa'nas that I met just yesterday. I don't owe you a damn thing, and neither does he. Jealousy and envy are a terrible look on you." Thalia took a deep breath, trying to calm herself, but these walls were too fucking close.

It would be easier to just butcher them both, you know.

"I have a visitor downstairs, and I'm pretty damn hungry. So tell me, Faye, are we going to put this behind us and forget about it, or are you still offended?"

"If you ever ask yourself again why you have no friends, there's your twisted answer..." Faye scolded herself in her thoughts. Yes, she pushed a little too far, but at least got the desired effect. Regardless of form.

The girl listened, standing her ground without backing off or wincing. She was ready for the backlash. "Okay, first things first..." Faye exhaled deeply when Illaya was done. Has she really held her breath for this whole time? Her voice was soft, calm and slightly apologetic. "...I apologize. That's something that I owe the both of you. For my intrusiveness back then, and now. Back then I was simply worried and walked at bad place, bad time, now I have at least a slight idea what happened. As for my behavior now I..." The girl began to stammer a little " I was going to turn a blind eye on all this but once you began to...I just really don't like being treated like an idiot. I know that probably wasn't your intention but I just saw red there and Im sorry. "She apologized again, and took another breath. "Second. As I said, I don't judge You, I don't judge Lavernius, and Gods drag me down to the Twisted Woods and leave for Shirai'Kaen to eat if I do because that's not my duty. I asked straight away to not have to make any assumptions. Unanswered questions left for themselves eventually find their own twisted answers anyway, and these rarely give justice to truth." Her eyes briefly moved to Lavernius then back. "And speaking of truth, yes you don't owe me a damn thing yet you told it, for which I just want to say thank you...As I promised, I won't ask anymore questions on the matter, except for two..." Somewhere along this whole talk Faye actually put her head down and began to play with the edge of her skirt. "Will you forgive me and put this behind, and would you allow me to pay for the breakfast and rest of the day? I know it won't do justice, but at least partially...Taking that you even want to know and talk to me after all this..."

What was still stuck and bouncing around her head like a mad mustang in a cowshed was what Illaya said about jealousy. Was it really that what driven her just now? No, she only wanted to hear the truth...right?

Lavernius wanted to interject and try to diffuse the increasingly volatile situation. But he just couldn't seem to find a spot to interject between Faye's accurate accusations and Thalia's reaction. He also didn't know what to say though. As he listened to Faye, he just sighed weakly. "I'm glad you're willing to put all of this behind you and would be grateful enough of you if you just did that alone. I don't think it's necessary that you also pay for my food and such, but I can't speak for Illaya." The artist sighed, glad that it was simply over. He may look pathetic at the current moment, but he still had his standards.

I am prepared to meet my maker.
Whether or not he's prepared to meet me....

Thalia sighed, "If I held grudges I would never have anyone to talk to." It was her way of accepting Faye's apology, but she was still rather aggravated in the moment. She turned to Lavernius, "sorry for the drama, could you please get us a table?" With that, Thalia went downstairs to see who this mystery person was.

Lavernius Mylarc, Faye Petralis & Thalia Valgeiros, the Dancing Horseman

As Thalia went down, one of the server maids was waiting on her. "Ah, Miss Illaya. The woman is waiting." She said as she guided Thalia through the room. It wasn't really that much trouble since there were only a few people inside at the moment. A couple of people were, at least, scattered, eating their breakfasts on their own.

Sitting right at the center table was an izukani woman. She looked a bit older than Thalia and wore traditional izukani wear for the festival. A long white dress covered in a red and black sash. Her dark hair neatly tied in a bun and kept together by a comb.

Thalia finally met the woman as the server nodded and then left without much else to say.

The woman on the table smiled and gestured Thalia have a seat, her eyes never leaving the assassin's. "Ah, Miss.. Illaya was it?" the woman said, as if she knew that wasn't Thalia's actual name. "My name is Ritsuko Hayata. I've come on behalf of my Lord to do business with you."

    Marianna Laranis, Salvation Point Jail
"Very well, I shall speak to you as an equal, businessman to businessman," Erenzo said then he looked to Reevus. "Kindly take your legionaires just outside the door. I can handle myself."

The lieutenant narrowed his eyes and nodded. He twirled his hand in the air, signalling an order for his men and left through the hallway, the four legionnaires stepped forward and turned, marching towards the end of the hall. Erenzo and Mari were finally alone in this section of the jail.

"I know very well what you can offer, Marianna," Erenzo began. "But I'm sure you're asking what you'd get. Other than our mutual bane erased from existence, I can help legalize your entire operation and quite possibly claim amnesty for you and the Twin Fangs, amnesty will be defined by how much assistance a member is. In return, I ask you eliminate the threat to our existences. I can supply you information, safe houses and manpower if required."

Mari observed how the legionaries left the room with a content expression on her face. If the man was really who he claimed to be, she knew that he had done Black Market business in the past, so having the authorities removed from the conversation benefited both of the parties. As he put out his terms, Mari had anticipated them: it's in the interest of a trade to offer exactly what the other party wants, or at least what they think they want. With that said, Mari wasn't really in a position to renegotiate the terms of the agreement. But her mind was already working a backup plan, just in case.

"Well, Mister Grayore, you're offering a truly tempting deal, and only a madman would refuse such offer. I would gladly shake on it, but..." she stopped as she jerked her right hand forward, making the chains that contained her rattle.
"My hands are tied, so to speak." she concluded with a faint smile on her face. The woman then turned around and walked back to her bed, on which she sat down.

"We both well know that the Lord Commander won't fully approve of this. Even if I am allowed to leave those walls, I would have hounds on my heels. Now, it has never been a problem keeping those brainless cretins off my heels, but now the circumstances are different. I'd be much obliged if you could take part in the deceiving. It would ease the operation and give me some time to gather whats left of the Fangs. Once I'm out I'll need one day to get a feel of the situation in the city. Afterwards we can meet at your deposit in the Market area." she surgically explained, keeping a calm and monotone voice.

In the brief moments between meeting the maid at the bottom of the stairs and being escorted over to the table, Thalia had already taken in every detail of the Dancing Horseman and of those who were inside. She listened as the Izukani woman greeted her,and then respectfully took a seat. "Good morning, I love how festive your dress is. I'm not sure if you've got the right person, but I can at least give you and yours the respect of hearing you out since you have put in so much effort to track me down." It was a sincere and polite smile, Thalia always took business seriously, and she had questions of her own. "Alright then, Miss Ritsuko Hayata, state your master's business." It was a unique name, a name Thalia would not forget.

Lavernius followed Thalia down and as a maid escorted her away, the man went to look for a table of 3. He sat down and gestured for a maid, "Miss Milanee, lovely to see you again. Can I please have a kettle of Izukani tea for the table. I myself would like some bread, cheese, and meat. And perhaps something sweet as well, I'll leave that to you. Surprise me." He smiled.

"Sure. Curiosity killed the cat...but it's not like it was all my fault to begin with..."

Faye lingered upstairs, sighed and dropped her shoulders. Well what's through is through, no point in making things more awkward than they are already. She reluctantly went downstairs, following Lavernius and escorting Illaya with her eyes, taking her place in front of the man once he chose a table. "Could I have scrambled eggs on ham and some bread please? And butter if its no bother...And tomatoes if you happen to have any." The girl ordered her food thinking of what she'd like as she went and smiled to the maid after Lavernius was done with his part. "Sooo uh..." Faye's drummed on table's surface with her fingers as she slowly faced the man, her voice uncertain. She hasn't locked eyes with him yet, instead overlooking his shoulder and gazing at Illaya and her 'visitor' in the distance. "No...I shouldn't. Sorry." The girl eventually refrained from inquiring any further and hid her hands under the table and hung her head down inspecting her nails, or at least pretending to do so. "Well anyway." She suddenly raised her head back again smiling, with her cheery voice back as if nothing happened. The smile was polite and charming as always, but not quite sincere. "Did you sleep well? I tried to wake you up after we left, so that you sleep inside but you were totally out." Clearly a desperate attempt to change the topic. She was still very much curious, not that she wasn't. But for the sake of everyone, that'd be for the better.
