Rhea did an about face at the mention of TwinVeil and the Order of the Ghostlight. "TwinVeil works, though we won't be delivering supplies and catching up with Castle Astenborough." Sir Dreimon was spewing noise again, trying to swing his rank around as if it were his cock. Both of which wouldn't impress any woman, not even Aurea. After clearing ushering Rook and the rest of her group to follow suit down the path, Rhea asked Esther, "What brings a member of the Ghostlight this far west? I thought you all stayed rather close to Lantern's Cross."

    [Thornfell - Eastern Forest]

Esther looked to the ranger, ignoring Sir Dreimons glare. "I do come from the Port Church but that city was sieged by a virus of unknown power. An escape caravan was sent to Thornfell, my group were its escort. We were separated by a lycanthrope attack. I ask you in turn, has the caravan arrived?"

"A caravan arrived if you'd call it that. Only had two. Apparently they too were attacked by Lycans. It seems that this threat isn't isolated to just these woods. I've heard of disturbances out at sea as well, but I don't hear too much these days. I wonder if the same virus that infested your land was the same one that Nocturn fellow was going on about with the Mayor. How about your group, how did the rest of them fare?"

"Stop it" Aurea exclaimed, but it was somewhat audible that she meant Sir Dreimon rather than the both of them. "With the silver...Will the town withstand another night or two?" As much as she hated it...Esther - as she just learned her name - was right. Getting reliable help was probably a smarter move than...what she planned on doing.

I should probably try and find something interesting to put in here...

Sir Dreimon reigned back his horse from close to Esther, moving to Aurea. "They will. The silver does give them aid," the captain assured. "The people of Thornfell are a hardy folk it seems, they will make it. I still have my men stationed there to add to the fight."

Still trying to motion and encourage everyone to get the show on the road, Rhea confirmed, "Then it sounds like our best course of action is to drop off the weapons here that we do not need and tell the Mayor we will be heading for TwinVeil rather than Castle Astenborough. Once there we can ask them for assistance on Thornfell's behalf if they can spare it, and continue on to Highmount. Are you coming with us to TwinVeil, Esther, or do you have business elsewhere?"

"How long can the town hold with the silver weaponry? And how will Twin Veil protect its twin city?" Lera asked.

She gazed into the distance, her mind wandering to the times she'd spent with the folks there. Good people, humans and elves alike. Even if she weren't born there, the decades she had spent were more than enough to form a deep bond.

"Will our expedition in a way halt this lycanthrope threat, killing two birds with one stone? Because if so, then our path is clear. If this journey could halt the infestation that would respawn the beasts endlessly, then we must do it. For my home, and our personal goals."

"I will be accompanying you to Twinveil, yes," Esther confirmed. "You won't be able to ask the elves for a favor you don't have the right to ask for."

The Order member looked over her shoulder towards Sir Dreimon, as if waiting some retort before turning to Lera. "The elves have more potent magics than you do," Esther reminded as she crossed her arms. "Even then, most have honed their battle skill with far greater length in time, some of their masters may have well fought in the first Amber Ring. I don't know what you mean by killing two birds with one stone. You are only quelling the lycanthrope threat. What befalls Thornfell before we gain the alliance of the elves is another matter that the denizens of that city have to care on their own for the time being.

You must realize that by now. If you want to save them faster however, we should stop talking and move."

"I must agree," Sir Dreimon sighed, much to Esther's enjoyment. "Rudolph and the clockwork will head back to Thornfell while the rest of us will advance to Twinveil. We are burning daylight so let's move."

The knight captain urged his steed forward and from there, he lead the movement. The dwarf, clockwork, elf and the refugee girl went to the opposite direction, back to Thornfell's gates.

"Very well. Let us move then." Aurea nodded, satisfied with captain's response, and ranger's plan... Seems like Rhea was finally willing to cooperate in the slightest, although with no doubt, just for her own sake. With the threat of Lycanthrope gone, the town could deliver the package themselves anyway, so they shouldn't worry about Castle Astenborough too much. Still the time was of the essence. Aurea was about to hop back on her steed, but then suddenly turned to Rudolph, remembering something. "Dwarf, if I may ask for a favor...There's something I left in the town's hall. A package. Would you mind fetching and keeping it for me until our reunion at Twinveil?"

I should probably try and find something interesting to put in here...

"Finally," the dwarf huffed. "Been squabblin loike a mess of chickens. Oy'll see y'all then at da knife-ears' village once Oy'm dun wit m' business at Thornfell. 'N it shunt be a problem, ye all be safe now." And with his simple farewell, the dwarf set off alongside the golem. Once they got to the town he was quick to make his way to the forge where with the help of some villagers and the blacksmith, began to finish his works. First a cross-guard was tapped into place, then swords were gripped by two pieces of wood that were nailed in place by a short and thick rod of metal that ran through the entire weapon. that were tempered at either ends before smoothed out then wrapped in leather. Finally a pommel was fitted on to complete the weapon. The spears, axes, and hammers were easier to outfit as once the shaft was fitted in, it was bolted shut like the swords then soldered. He took a hammer as it was only fitting for a dwarf to have a warhammer.

Once he taught the blacksmith and the help on how to do it properly, he let them continue as he headed to the town hall to collect his rucksack as well as Aurea's package. It was a small bundle so it fit easily in the dwarf's massive duffel bag. He pulled out some kettle corn from a package and rested it in the palm of his metal hand, slowly waving it back and forth in the rucksack until he heard the snuffling and rustling that indicated Furgeson had smelled the food. The dwarf wait until he felt the familiar weight in his hand until he pulled it out to look at the fat dopey squirrel that was too busy eating kettle corn to say hi to his owner. "Ya dumb git, glad to see a day withoot eatin didn't make ya lose any of yer character." He poked the squirrel in its stomach and it simply ignored him. The dwarf shook his head and let Furgeson sit back into his bag before setting back to the blacksmith's.
