(The end of the day is relative I think. Right now it is midnight for me but it is around 4-6pm in the US. Also I just noticed how big this thread grew in just a few days, good job!)

(I guess I'll go ahead. I don't want to leave anyone hanging and I don't want to interfere with the next question.)

"Alright. I guess I'll go ahead and ask." Derrick said as he looked around the room waiting for someone to respond. All he got seemed to be silence though. "I guess it's kind of a stupid now that I think about it, but imagine that earth was being invaded by something. And yes, the public is aware of it so it isn't like we are alone. It could be anything really from some higher plane entity to aliens. I don't really care. The question is, if everyone in the room had to team up to defend the world against said thing, what would be the first thing you would do? And do you think we would succeed? You can get creative on the invader if you want but if you need something to go off of to make your decision, just go with a cliche like aliens or something."

"I'm not 100% that I'm on Earth at the moment," Johni shrugged, "But the first thing I'd try to do is evacuate people. I don't exactly know where, but if the government knows, I assume they would have a good spot. My stuff's not designed for fighting, let alone a war against aliens or robots or whatever. I could put together some guerilla warfare on ground after ya all die though." She gave a little grin before Annabelle spoke up.

"I mean, going from what I've heard from most of you, if anyone could save us from some alien threat, it would be all of you." Annabelle's eyes specifically met the gods, mother daughter and the super assassin specifically, although the last made her ill. "I've never been in a fight before though, and I've barely even practiced shooting my shotgun, so I'd probably be best with evacuation efforts as well. I've dealt with enough nonsense to be better composed than most people. As for how it would go though..." She made a wishy washy gesture. "If they're from somewhere else, they're probably attacking from the sky and not deploying ground troops. Assuming they don't have doomsday tech, our best bet would be nukes from the governments, but those get disabled... They might not kill everyone, but even if everything we did was perfect on our side, the population would be in ruins."

Porcelain was the one who answered first among the two surprisingly. "I'd help with evacuating and escorting the people, knowing my child and husband, they would immediately go all out to defend the Earth." Obzidias nodded beside her. "She's right, I'd bring in every single asset that the Epsilon Union has in our arsenal from the Colossus Dreadnaughts to a lowly foot soldier. Most of our guns would be to try and beat back the stronger foes while the rest of them would handle evacuation and escorting. Me and my father are primarily deadly combat maniacs, mother is one as well, but she has the more defensive disposition. No offense mah." He finished turning his head to Porcelain who just shook her head. "It's fine dear."

Turning his head, Obzidias looked at the others. "Frankly, so far as I've noticed, few of the world- sorry, our world, are even capable to build orbital elevators. I should not be saying this but eh fuck it. As far as I am aware, which is a lot. The Epsilon Union has achieved spacetech to the point that our... I can't believe I'm disclosing information to you lot. Terraformer, the Zephyr Magnus. A mobile space fortress armed to the teeth with weaponry, a few super-class weapons, and a single terraformer array. Yes it is a legitimate terraformer, thank the gods our scientists are some of the smartest ever known and unknown. So yeah, that's how it's probably gonna go down." He finished before finishing up what appears to be a black colored spire with a lot of detail on it. The others could only assume that is the Zephyr Magnus.

"The only way I see myself being useful is with a mech. We are trained our whole lives to fight in those things, and I have to admit, I am pretty good at it. But I don't believe I would be able to find one in such a scenario so I would pretty much a civilian. Except maybe, I could offer some of my tactical knowledge and work as a commander. I really don't know if I would be allowed such a thing."

A004, who silent for a while, wasn't very interested in the scenario of an alien invasion. Humanity had already been fighting Alectons for over 100 years, so the idea had gotten pretty stale on him. He looked around the room, trying to read people's expressions. This only got him more confused and decided it was better to sit back and wait for another question.

Annabelle seemed to able to pick up on some of A004's feelings. Clearing her throat, she poised the next question. "A lot of things I watch are introducing characters with robotic arms, but if the technology for that came out today and there was an operation that could replace your arm with a robotic one that felt no pain, doubled your strength and operated just as well as your current one, would you take it? Assuming you could afford it, it was proven safe, and any and all kinks were taken out of testing, of course."

"As much as I would love the boost, I don't know if I could give up feeling." Johni subconsciously rubbed her hands together, "My whole family's extremely outdoorsy. Feeling bark and fur in my hands is pretty important to me, even if I've still got the other one." She leaned back, "I'd have to give it a pass."

"This is actually a very familiar question for me. I have time and time again been offered to replace parts of my body with mechanical ones, in order to fix some 'imperfections'. As you can see, I declined every single one of them, but this one, I have to decline for a different reason." A004's mind travelled back to times that seemed so far, yet were so close. He remembered the first time he was offered a replacement. All the feelings that he had back then, came back rushing towards him. He tried to brush them off and continued.

"I used to say no on the basis that it wouldn't really make difference, since the job I was destined for didn't really require physical strength, and also said that I couldn't trust the High Command enough to implant an artificial limb onto me. Now that I have matured and thought about it more, although those reasons still stand, I believe I don't want something like a robotic arm because it would... how can I say it... 'decrease' my humanity. It is something that I have come to face very often, and I have decided I want to remain real, even if it means lacking behind someone with a superior arm."

"Afraid not," Derrick replied. "I would appreciate the offer and I can see all of the practical applications. But like Johni said, I appreciate the ability to feel a lot more. Not to mention the ability to swim which I actually really enjoy doing. Yeah, it might help me in a fight, yes it might allow me to store stuff, and yes it might come with all sorts of useful gadgets. But i'm not willing to give up feeling and swimming for it."

He considered Riley when he said what he did. Really, it probably was an option for him given the technology was out there, there were several prosthetic companies that got pretty close, and he was pretty sure he could ask the same guy or girl who gave him his staff to make such an arm and they would accept. Yep. There was no reason for him not to think it was an option for him. But really, he was more than happy with the limbs he had. If he lost a few, he might consider the offer. But he prefered to be in one piece.

"I'd take it for my left," Annabelle confessed, "In part, because I live in a rougher neighborhood, but there have also been a lot of times where being stronger would be nice. If I have to deep clean a room, it would save me a lot of sweat if I could just slide the bed a few feet rather than having to ram it with my shoulder and dig my feet into the ground." She shrugged. "On the topic of difficult things though, what's the hardest thing for you to do? Mentally, I mean, not your physical limitations. Personally, I have a hard time changing my opinions on someone, especially if the first impression is bad. I don't have much free time, so I'm very guarded with letting someone through my walls, but if someone manages to sneak through, since they're so high, I don't want to lose anyone because there are so few people there."

Both mother and son answered. "We'd rather keep our limbs, we can make our own reactive armor." Obzidias looked at Annabelle. "The hardest thing for me to do... That would be, embarrassingly, eat two certain fruits. The Mango and The Banana. I just don't like their taste, try to feed me any of those fruits I'll literally fight so I could not eat it. HELL, even if I'm willing, I have to fight MYSELF to at least take a bite." Out the corner of his eye, Porcelain shook her head ruefully. "It's true, you have no idea how many times I tried to feed him those fruits. He does NOT like them at all. As for me? I would say my urge to be an OCD cleaner, I fight it everyday, and it still sometimes get past my control." "That is true." "Hush you." Porcelain admonished her only child.
