Xerkin looked towards Tryssa, before quickly lowering his head.

"I would never.." he mumbled, his hands wringing themselves more intensely.

His nerves eased themselves with Arthur's introduction, as he grew more comfortable from the man's friendliness.

"Nice to meet you Arthur." he simply stated, his emotionless, porcelain features staring directly at him.

After securing her resting spot, Peladryia removed her hood, and felt the fur of the carpet underneath her fingers. Since seats and floors were stone alike, it mattered not where she sat down. A soft pelt of a carpet was questionably the best alternative.

Peladryia's eyes began to slowly wander from person to person, with an indifferent, almost bored expression on her face. With the way she stared it might've been a little...uncomfortable for some.

There was a soldier, in armor well overdue for maintenance. He almost blended in with their escort, and Pel spotted him only after all, but one of the Fades left. Soon she discovered why. He introduced himself as Arthur, and he in fact was one of them. Or used to be at least. Kind of like her, although the reasons were most likely different.

Then there was a Vetran, no doubt. His skin burnt with the southern sun and arms made of metal. She'd wonder what happened to them, had she not know better. Vetrans need little reason to modify their bodies like that. No injury is needed for them to perform such exploits. The man chuckled as she examined him, possibly in reaction to her staring. Pel paid no mind as her face remained unfazed and her gaze moved to the next person.

Person...Peladryia ever so slightly tilted her head to the side upon looking at the next individual. Hollows fascinated her in a certain way. Unlike other races, almost every single one of them had a unique shape and anatomy to them. They always posed a challenge for her skills. None she couldn't overcome with time, however. This towering Hollow of many limbs introduced himself as Xerkin. The way he moved and spoke made her doubt that'd he want to hurt anyone in the room, yet alone eat them...but perhaps that was what she was supposed to think.

Next to him sat another of his kind. This time a female. If not for the protruding horns and an angrily twitching tail, she could've been easily mistaken for a human. There were also these harpy's claws. Sharp no doubt. Unlike her uneasy partner, she presented herself more confidently...she also seemed to be rather annoyed with the whole predicament. Can't blame her, she must've been freezing throughout the whole trek all the way up here... That and she probably didn't really want to be here, just like Pel.

There was also another man, reluctant to enter the lights of the room, and Elent the leader of their escort.

There was still someone missing however, and the moment she thought that, a small, black cat entered the room. It paraded across, hastening its step a little when passing in front of the resting Hollows. It gave them a scared glance, and then dove between Vetran's legs, to finally sit in front of the girl on the carpet. She leaned forward to give it a small treat, and then picked it up and placed it on her lap. The creature happily obliged, curling itself into a ball, letting itself be gently pet by the girl.

-Peladryia...- She mumbled incomprehensibly with a blank expression, her attention now absorbed by the critter on her lap. She pulled her collar down a little, and her voice became audible to a point of recognition. It was quiet and monotone. - My name is Peladryia...Hopefully all this won't take too long... - She added after a while, lowering her voice, knowing full well she was wrong.

Names were being thrown around, and although Pel was rather reluctant to share hers, she had an awful suspicion they'll be stuck in here for a while...these were Fade politics they were dealing with, after all.

I should probably try and find something interesting to put in here...

Oh great, it talks to cats. Tryssa scoffed at the feeble human as she watched her analyze their fellow group members, trying to figure them out. The little human was probably the most useless member of their group, and the most helpless. That was the last thing Tryssa wanted to deal with, dead weight. She barked at the quirky human, “speak up, no one can hear you.” Her tail wrapped comfortably around her and rested in her lap while she crossed her arms in disappointment.

She could feel the stare across the room. It wasn't evaluating or examining, but judging and derisive. Pel counted to three in her head, and predictably, the lightning struck. These kind of people are all the same, really.

“speak up, no one can hear you.”

Peladryia slowly raised her head to look the female hollow in the eyes, whilst still petting the cat. "Those who wish to listen, surely got it." Once more she tilted her head a little. "I've no need to make show of my words to be heard." Neither her voice nor her face expression changed in the slightest. She turned her gaze away, staring somewhere in the distance, as far as the opposite wall allowed her to. "You're the type to know that as well, no? That full names hold a certain power, for those that know how to use them. By giving them up, one makes themselves vulnerable in the show of trust, or foolishness. Of all the people in here, you'd be the one afraid to give yours. What will you hide behind? A substitute, or unfounded pride?"

A smile creased Tryssa’s lips as Peladryia quipped back. An armored hand brought its middle finger and thumb together and motioned as if to scrape dirt from on of her claws. “Quite the statement from a human whose significance is that of the carpet she sits upon.” Her gaze returned up to the back of Peladryia’s head, beaming through it.

Tryssa readjusted, crossing her other leg over instead. “You’ll have to forgive my rudeness. I’m cranky from the travel.”

    "Pride it is, then."

"I am sitting on a perfectly comfortable carpet of acceptable quality and softness. You're sitting on a piece of chipped stone, because your sense of conformity told you to do so. You have to share it, additionally." Peladryia didn't grace the woman with another glance, instead passing her by and stopping at Xerkin. "No offense intended, Xerkin of Shayatins, you were there first." She nodded to him, and then focused back on her cat. "Apology accepted, Hollow... It must've been a rough couple of days for those of you unacquainted with the climate."

I should probably try and find something interesting to put in here...

Tryssa chuckled, “I suppose life is better for a doormat if it’s happy to be a doormat.” She took amusement in the human assuming she wasn’t conditioned to the climate when really she detested the idea of having so many people involved in the same mission. What the human failed to recall is that the Hollowed are from one of the more arctic regions of the continent. Tryssa was very familiar with the coastlines north of her home due to her rigorous training that required her to swim for miles in the freezing ocean. No, the cold did not bother Tryssa at all.

Her tail offered Xerkin a friendly pat on one of his hulking legs, “I think she likes you, big guy.”

Xerkin's masked face followed the conversation, moving from each person that spoke to the next. He was only half paying attention to what was said and more just happy that conversation was taking place. The sudden tap on his leg brought him back to his senses however, as the only other hollowed around patted him with her tail.

"Oh. Thank you.." he muttered out from behind unmoving porcelain lips, happy that the woman felt comfortable around him.

    "I, erm, like your horns."

Arthur remained silent throughout the exchange between the two. He considered intervening, but held his tongue. When Tryssa turned her attention to Xerkin, he approached Peladryia and knelt beside her. "What an adorable friend you have here, mind if I pet 'em?"
Arthur wanted to us opportunity to befriend the quiet spoken girl. Also, he loves animals.

Tryssa smiled at Xerkin’s compliment, “Thank you. They scare many people because they think I might accidentally impale them. You’re very polite, I’m sure you have had your fair share of being mischaracterized.” Out of everyone here Xerkin seemed to be the most competent, aside from herself that is. He would definitely be able to make the job easier, unlike the others.
