I create video games too. But I dont have the programming wise to cr8 games on flash so I use TGF2 newgrounds edition, its completely free and legal btw

Actionscript for making games is quite powerful , especially if you are starting out. AS has a lot of tutorials and making a basic game engine is terribly easy.
