    Computer doesn't recognize any phones

Usually, when I plug in my phone there was always a little window that pops up and has options that lets you take out and add all kinds of stuff to it, right? Now all of a sudden none of my computers can recognize any phone I plug into it. Why does it do that? I've tried downloading drivers but the computer can't find any, there are no damn settings for usb that everyone talks about. I've used all the different usb ports but none of it is working! What the hell happened here? It works for different devices like cameras and tablets but not phones? I see it works because it's charging but why doesn't it detect it!!

    I'm using a samsung galaxy s3
and I'm trying to get pictures out of a pantech (not my phone) to the galaxy
messaging them all is too hard so what I'm trying to do is get it all onto a computer and plug in my galaxy so i could put that in there...

did you set your phone to act as a storage device? you can do this from the notification tray or from settings>wireless & networks>USB connection (choose mass storage)

Alternatively you can acquire a free app called AirDroid, which lets you access your phone wirelessly from your PC. You wont ever require a cable ever again.

This problem has happened to me as well and that is what I used.

Can AirDroid be trusted though? I would just go with what scarecrow said.

Maybe the usb port had a malfunctioning error?

Yes and you probably should reset the drivers for the usb port or disable and enable them again.
