Thread: Blur Effect [Pivot]

  1. #1

    Blur Effect [Pivot]

Want blur effect? Here's the thread for you. (:

So this is not one of those really nooby tuts,
i wanna teach people this blur i found out by accident :DD

So everybody has pivot 4.2, right? if not, its ok, you can still make this effect,
    Spoiler for Thingy:

So, im gonna make an anim real quick

so this is an anim i made WITHOUT the blur
    Spoiler for Anim:

And this is the frame i want the blur to happen to the stick
    Spoiler for frame:

    1. Copy + Paste.
Ok for this step, you need to copy and paste your stickman several times for this effect to work,
and make sure the copies are NEXT to each other, and next to each other at the direction you want your stickman to be Blurred for this anim, i want the stickman to be blurred horizontally, so lets start with the copying and pasting

    Spoiler for copy and paste:

So i started copying and pasting the stick next to each other, horizontally, because the stick is speeding to the right,
    So now, NEXT STEP

    2. Opacity
Now this step is the KEY of this effect, you need a version of pivot that has the opacity bar,
now if you lower the opacity from 1 to 20, you get the blurry effect,

    Spoiler for blur effect:

There you go! thats the tutorial.

    now for the final result
    Spoiler for final result anim:

Download file (pivot 4 or more): https://www.mediafire.com/?b1sal85w394bvpq

If this helped you, You're welcome ;3

Only saw this after I took a screenshot of my stick and blurred it to make the effect. Damn. I'll be sure to use this.

I thought this was obvious enough and everyone should know how to do this. Seriously? I honestly thought everyone knew how to do this. o.o
