    Spearton + Magikill strategy

This strategy uses speartons a defense for your magikill while you can still use speartons offensively.

    1. To start off you are going to want to buy 3 miners with your starting money. You are going to want to keep buying miners until you have 9 (7 mining, 2 praying). If your opponent is rushing you right at the start cancel all of your miners you are buying and get a castle archer. Once your castle archer is out you can continue buying miners.

    2. After you have all of the miners you need (and defense) you can start getting your speartons. While you are getting speartons you will also want to be buying electric wall and poison spray for magikill. After your first spearton you want to send him to scout and possibly capture middle tower. If you cant capture the middle tower you will want to wait until you have 2 speartons. If you cant capture mid tower with 2 speartons than wait until 4. If they have an albowtross or two at mid tower than get a magikill early. If you cannot capture middle tower for whatever reason than just try to focus more on defense because they are most likely going to buy ghost tower.

    3. Once you have 14-16 speartons you can do either:

    A. Get a few merics as well as magikill
    B. Get more magikill but no or less merics
    C. Get more spearton but less magikill

Or anything else that will help you in battle. What you want to do really depends on what army your opponent has.
Tip: You might want to go into battle a little bit slow because of the pace of magikill and (if you have them) Merics.

How do you get to step 2 against the opponent diving your castle archer and killing your miners?

    Yeah thats a great question.
If you can't build a miner wall and a castle archer you will lose.
So Spearton + Magikill strategy Its not a good strategy,if you are lucky(i mean if you can build a miner wall and a castle archer you can continue the battle), but if you can't,its over.

This is a somewhat valid strategy if you actually manage to ward off pressure with the CA.
First off I want to say that you'll need a lot more miners. For mages you are going to want about 4 on mana and at a minimum, 10 on gold.

For the start, 2 miners and 1 swordwrath is much better, for you can stall against the archer they send, or even take the tower, possibly, if they send 1 sword/nothing. Buying 3 miners is not efficient because you'll have enough gold for a third miner by the time your first finish if you do 2 miners 1 sword. Then yu have more time, and perhaps even the tower.

This is not a terrible strategy if done well, but you must be able to fatty turtle while building up economy. To do this, after you have several miners, and CA (if they are pressuring) research wall and build one just within the CA's reach. By putting a spearton in shield wall infront of the wall, you have a nearly impenetrable shield early game. Units cannot target the wall if there is a unit in front of it, thus they must attack the spearton. You can start to buy more miners now. Soon you should build a meric, more spears, the upgrades for magikill. Once you have 2-3 spears infront of the wall, tanking damage, you can buy a magikill to do high DPS. You can now ward off archers. Don't wait till 14 spears to get the mage because you won't have enough damage to ward off the archers. You'll then face at least a row of spears and 2 rows of archers. They can buy a shadowrath and its game because you cannot move your mage past the wall. Try to focus on getting the magikill out, instead, at around 3 spears.

This is a powerful build if done correctly, and is one of the best alternatives to spearcher. However, it is not as reliable and you'll likely be pushed into the base with a weak economy. Make sure to practice micro, though, and it is possible to use this strategy very effectively.

There is tons of strange stuff in the recommendations and analysis... every battle is shaped by field size and opponent army choices. A spear/mer/mage spam can be very very effective on shorter fields, where you can mass 3-4 magis with 3-4 merics and a line of spears, and suddenly push/attack a pack of giants and other units. Longer fields spear/mage is very hard against higher level players, as they will just easily cut down magikills long before you get close to their base.

But you are assuming you can even ward off an opponent long enough... and a single CA isn't enough to keep most players at bay, while stacking spears doesn't do much either to keep someone from crashing your cash flow.
