And I've tweaked it this time. Some of the reasons are either for the sake of balance, streamlining certain actions, or just making my life easier. If you don't know what GoC is, check out the old game here: http://forums.stickpage.com/showthre...-0-coming-soon
Not gonna explain the rules yet, though its almost the same concept-wise: 3-6 brave men will enter a 9-Room dungeon fighting monsters of varying levels of tenacity. Whoever manages to escape alive AND get the most Glory (gained by defeating monsters amongst other things) will be the Champion.
Veterans of the 1st game, here's the changelog: [spoiler=Differences from 1st GoC]
- Probably the biggest change is there is now a Shared Attack Pool between the party with a limited kind of damage for each category. So, for example there can only ever be 8 "Attack 20s" in one instance. They can choose any Attack and no longer need stats to vary but once used, they are gone until almost all of the pool is out. This will be explained in-depth later.
- There are less attack categories. Previously we had attacks in multiples of 5, now there are only like 6 kinds.
- The Shop and XP are gone. Instead, Items can be picked up at random but won't be as frequent. Healing Potions and Cure Spells can also grant Glory if you use them to heal others.
- As for Skills, they will become available to everyone without purchase BUT only 5 at a time will ever be shown alongside the Attack Pool and they will reshuffle every Round. They are not limited in number and can be used as they see fit. Players will also be given the option to Draw a Skil
