ActaSanctorum
The first wRHG clan on Stickpage!
(By three minutes)

Description
Spoiler (Click to Show)
idea between three guys during the beginning discussion of wRHG clans: Lexel Natakzusen, Sebastian, and Cowboy Bodacious. All three joined the writter Rock Hard Gladiator system at a somewhat early time, when few battles had been fought, the Rock Hard Writer's district began to die, and less than fifteen wRHGs dwelled in S.P. city. Their friendship is quite ironic; who knew a fun-loving cartoon, a demon possessed fighter, and a fearsome cowboy would ever get along? It all started with a simple bet and a battle: Lexel had entered the wRHG just as Sebastian's battle with Bodacious had begun voting. Lexel had bet anyone five dollars that they couldn't read through his biography without falling asleep, and Sebastian became good friends with Bodacious after winning the fight. It wasn't long before Sebastian won the bet, and a mad chase over 3.79 Euros ensued. With the slow transfer of certain Rock Hard Writers to the S.P. District and the addition of several all new wRHGs, a written clan system seemed not too far off from reality. It was unfortunate, then, that Bodacious was to be sent off for basic army training right before the Lounge was constructed, but the clan still has plans and a rather shocking collaboration in the works that never got completed.

It's been months since this story has been expanded upon in the thread. Lexel has fallen behind the scenes, Bodacious and Serena are nowhere to be found, and Sebastian J. C. R. P. V. is now dead. Anything could happen to this clan now.
With everyone but Lexel gone and the news that Sebastian was dead coming from Gladstone, the wacky cartoon decided to give the clan’s reigns to the newcomer without any immediately apparent reason, much to his confusion. However, after a debriefing to his squad leader, they reached the conclusion that the clan would be a good cover for Sebastian, and the leader clearance would allow him to further access information from the wRHG as well as provide a safe place to house his squad mates, should their visit become necessary.

Another set of 30 days has passed and the clan has reached its full capacity. Initially with the recruitment of Mr. George Prince, better known as The Gentleman and, recently, Sabine and Rykosar. Why they joined is yet unknown, but, currently, Gladstone is more worried about the lack of information regarding a third recent member named Torvin and has asked his colleagues back at Halberd to check into it.

Shortly after the recruitment of the three new members, a singing voice was heard throughout the clan house every night for about a week. After brief investigations leading to shower ghosts, Shakespearean musings and a lot of sleep deprivation, the clan found out that in the security recordings of the forest around the clan house there was a strange consistency that had the clan reach a decision. Three of the clan members went outside to where the camera in question was looking at, while the other two stayed and monitored the security systems. As usual, the singing came, but it shouldn't be supposed to be heard from the outside. Following the sound lead them to a cave that went all the way below the clan house where a woman, who they later found out to be Serena, was living, wounded. Surprised, they quickly brought her inside the house after she collapsed and provided her with the medical care that they could. Once able to walk, the wounded banshee thanked the clan for their help and apologised for the trouble she caused, leaving.

Things one day became rather quiet around the house. Gladstone was often off with Sonia on a mission of sorts for Halberd. George was fielding calls from potential investors for Prince Incorporated. Sabine went "baby-sitting". Rykosar went to live a life of seclusion in the forest. Torvin went M.I.A. in his last mission abroad. It seemed the clan was ready to stop existing forever, but after a midnight phone call, The Gentleman said enough is enough. Officially taking a break from the family business, he asked his clan leader if he may take control of the clan. The chocolate loving pixel spawner gave his blessing and thus with new breath, the ActaSanctorum doors was open once more.

The first that George recruited was Ethernu. He was merely a novice RHG, but an experienced warrior. George met him in a shady weapon store in downtown Stickpage and was fascinated by his Morph Blade. Thus, after a quick exchange, Ethernu was eager to join up with the historic establishment. The second person he managed to recruit was Serena Richards. It was purely accidental though, for he merely went to find her to add her missing description to the ActaSanctorum memory banks. Serena and Tanya managed to talk George into having Serena rejoin her old clan and thus he found another faithful ally. Lastly, the Gentleman accidentally joined Alabaster Finch on a vampire hunt and after successfully finding the monster and slaying it George recognised the Hunter as a potential ally. Thus the last room was filled in the Clan.

Description of the clan house
Spoiler (Click to Show)
northern outskirts of SP City. About a half hour walk from the lounge. It passes mostly as a warehouse from the outside… and the inside. It’s mostly a huge empty space with a single floor to it. Lexel’s reign didn’t bring much in the way of furniture to the base. This was where The Gentleman couldn't stand it anymore. Once Sebastian introduced him to the new clan-house, he was mortified. The four sofas, two of them for a single person and the other two could hold about 3-4 people, just had to go. It was old and brown and no man should take a nap on it. The glass table in the middle of the couches was nice, but dusty because of neglect and the few crumbs were so old, The Gentleman reckoned it was coming to life.

As he walked over to the drawing table, he saw some schematics of weaponry, like gunblade models and grenades, but then he saw the architectural design to incorporate a second story. He quickly hired a few of the best civil engineers and began constructing the second story. The concrete walls were painted to a more inviting colour like: Blue; and lower windows were built in for the first floor. The 12 high up windows were kept to give the second story light. The massive industrial lights were still to be incorporated and a new set was built into the new ground floor ceiling.

As you enter from the city side through the big-brown-metallic-heavy double door, that creaks loudly when you move it, you come across a massive floor that has five sections. One: Was an auto workshop where most vehicles could be worked on if need be. Two: Was filled with massive computer monitors and various smaller monitors for surveillance and briefing of clan missions. Three: Was a training center with various weapons ranging from katanas, knives, guns, Umbra-prototypes and many training floors and exercises. Four: Was a metal smithy area and a wood-work bench for any member to work on their private projects. Five: a small kitchen area where some clan members would enjoy their daily breakfast and lunch. It was simple with a plain white table, comfortable kitchen chairs, a fridge, and cabinets sporting multiple groceries the clan members need.

In the middle of the ground floor is an elevator, (there are stairs of the sides of the four walls, but the elevator stands out). After hearing of the previous member Rykosar’s weight, the elevator was fitted with a higher weight limit and made a lot sturdier when needing to get to the first floor.

Once you're on the second floor you would notice a lounge area with the four horrific couches surrounding the glass table. The Gentleman couldn't get rid of it. It seemed to mean a lot to the origins of the clan.

The floor was divided into many parts. The Gentleman had his own private living quarters filled with different designs and antique furniture with his own weapon workshop and personal tea dispenser as well. He has many mementos from his different adventures around the world. Sebastian Gladstone’s quarters are the same size and with a high-end computer with double monitors and top of the line mouse and keyboard in place of his workshop and chocolate dispenser, but there's one thing lacking: a bed. George thought he heard his partner saying he likes to use his Pixels as a bed, but it ended up being an innocent misunderstanding. Gladstone ended up purchasing a bed of his own with some of the money that Lexel ended up not spending when he gave the clan to him to not bother The Gentleman further.

As for the other two rooms, Ethernu's room had elegant wooden walls, a television stand with a top class plasma TV on it, and a rather fancy looking desk. The desk had a comfortable leather seat in front of it as well as a variety of standard items on top of it; lamp, stationary, papers, maps, etc. There was a king sized bed with wooden bed frame near the two windows and a closet with an outlet inside. Ethernu sometimes used his closet as a desk and often works on his computer here. The cherry on top (or the bottom in this case) was a modest rug, for the homey feel. The second room where Alabaster resides has a single bed and a rather abnormal amount of weapon racks. On these racks are an assortment of weapons ranging from guns to knives to crossbows. There is one working station beneath the window where one could find a variety of tools and useful miscellaneous items. The room however in general is rather badly kept with random pieces of rope and canisters littering the floor and workstation.

Even though Serena Richards joined ActaSanctorum, she decided to maintain her residence with Tanya at the present time, using the warehouse as a fortress of sorts when unwanted attention comes knocking. In this case the last room was still vacant sadly. After most of the clan left, George emptied out the rooms and placed the personal effects in storage.

As an after note, there is also a small average door on the ground floor. Nothing really notable about it, honestly. As average as one could imagine it to be. It isn’t used often and leads into the forest in the back. Enjoy long peaceful walks? Then this is your door. Just do not disturb the wildlife.

George “The Gentleman” Prince - Acting Leader
Born to the great business empire of the Prince Family, he was a spoilt brat, ranging from partying all night to spending his inheritance on materialistic ideals. However after being cut off, he got himself together, going to university and making the groundbreaking discovery of Mithril, of which he owns the majority. With this indestructible metal he molded his famed Umbra! The indestructible umbrella which can stop all attacks and keep the rain off his head. His only goal is to find true love within the tournament, because only a gladiator can make him settle down.

[thread=43723]Sebastian Gladstone - Sleeper Leader[/thread]
Sebastian Gladstone’s real objective is not known to anyone but himself and his squad back at Halberd. In everyone else’s eyes, he’s simply a gladiator that uses the excuse of “a dark past” to keep himself from actually talking of why he came here. Not exactly an uncommon scenario within the gladiators. He’s a skilled melee combatant that can materialize up to 5 cubes that are solid only to him. Aside from that, he also owns a pair of electric tonfas.

[thread=77476]Alabaster "The Hunter Finch - Senior Member[/thread]
A man who hunts monsters at night, he is old and cold but can take on any threat with his vast arsenal of weaponry. Having been raised on the streets he has an affinity for killing those creatures who try to work outside of the Underscape. Into every battle he brings his own unique style of fighting and creativity for he is adaptable in almost any situation. Maybe he could teach his fellow clan mates a thing or two with his age or maybe the younger generations would leave him in the dust. Only time will tell.

[thread=47403]Serena Richards - Senior Member[/thread]
After being once stripped of the gift of life, Serena returned to the world of the living thanks to a poorly executed arcane ritual. Lacking a purpose, she stumbled across the Gladiator system by pure case. The singer had the fighting as her main priority, before meeting Tanya, her now girlfriend. Although being once member of Acta Sanctorum, Serena decided to aid the organization yet again, this time with Tanya at her side and The Gentleman as the leader.

[thread=99588]Ralph "Wind Chaser" Ethernu - Junior Member[/thread]
Ethernu was once a normal human being. He was an adventurer and a treasure hunter, searching the four corners of the world for artefacts that have been lost in time and never seen before. On one of his expeditions, Ethernu discovered the Morph Blade. There it sat in it's pedestal, stuck in time. Yet, It beckoned for him to free it from it's prison. When Ethernu successfully pulled it out, he was blessed by The Goddess of Wind. From her blessings, Ethernu's perception grew as well as his tactical mind. None knows what the indestructible blade is made out. Some propose mythril, others say it is from an ore not discovered by man yet. The Morph Blade is a blessing and a curse. Despite having the ability to shift his weapon into anything, it is bound to his bloodline for all of eternity. Only death will part him from the sword while it is passed to the next generation.

Previous Gladiators:
[spoiler=dead or missing]

[thread=44771]Lexel Natakzusen[/thread]
Leader of ActaSanctorum, this walkin' talkin' cartoon is a disposable weapons blacksmith with a sense of humor and two very interesting weapons. His legendary Kaiho grants him immortality, but he still feels pain as anyone else would. His peppy personality ends up contradicting many of the wRHGs currently enlisted, and his existence as a comedic character often leads to clumsiness and unfortunate luck.

[thread=43763]Cowboy Bodacious[/thread]
Bodacious joined because he knew his best friend Sebastian had joined, and he thought, "Why the hell not?" With that he inquired to Lexel about membership. He brought his love of fighting and his good-hearted nature with him, along with his favorite horse pearl and his blessed lasso Anies. Armed with his indestructible hat, Colt .45 Peacemaker pistol and super strength and evil power boost to bring his weight limit from 2 tons to 4 tons, he is now in the army ready to defend his country and his friends.

[thread=43723]Sebastian[/thread]
(To find his profile, look for the spoiler that says “Previous Gladiators”)
Sebastian was a 17 year old kid that used the powers of the demon inside him to enhance various physical traits. He joined ActaSanctorum to keep his end of a bargain as he had asked Lexel for help in finding the person that later on would end up killing him.

[thread=79425]Sabine Marie Bataille[/thread]
With unsure origins she was taken in as an infant, not expecting her to survive in her odd condition. However she thrived, connected to the Iwas of Voodoo, resulting in odd and even grotesque appearences. She grew up fairly normally but eventually the dicovery of her 'rot' left her scrambling away for the sake of her family, bumping into trouble on the way. She's evaded the Black Hand for years, but the RHG can protect her further. She fights and works at local cafes, living out life as she sees fit. Skilled in close combat, experienced with knives and a whip, and has had plenty of practice in fighting with each of her layers.

Heh, I was hoping I hadn't heard the last of ActaSanctorum! Glad to see it up again!

Sabine is basically on babysitting duty though, as far as your backstory is concerned though

I am hereby happy to announce that Shapiro's character Ethernu has official joined ActaSanctorum. He will be a junior member for now, to reflect his current writing ability, but under tutelage he may well become a force to be reckoned with. On behalf of... just me I guess... I welcome you to our historic clan.

I would agree, but for arguments sake, we see history in a linear fashion, THUS using the displacement of time itself, we have the most.

(But yes... you do)

Just one question about the monthly, to they have a set topic (like an assassination, a day at base) or do you choose what the topic of the monthly is every month?

It will be a topic set by me. It's usually an opportunity to expand on clan chemistry or maybe just to sharpen your skills. But I wouldn't have loads of restrictions on then.

Two announcements are to be made at the present time.

Number 1. DelorMaximus's Serena has joined our little band of merry men (and women) and has attained the rank of Senior Membership due to his writing ability and previous standings at the clan.

Number 2. It has been requested of me to do a monthly, which I am happy to do. I already have an idea of where I am taking this clan and thus will be making monthlies build up towards this ultimate event. Without further ado:

Our Series of Unfortunate Events

Misfortune has struck every citizen of ActaSanctorum, no matter where they are, and it felt like everyone was having the worst day. Get the mail outside, it rains. Take the dog for a walk, he ends up excreting on your carpet. Get mugged. Electricity cuts out during your favourite Spanish Soap Opera. Anything could be going wrong. It won't be your character against anyone specific, but merely your character surviving the worst nonfatal day of their life. The challenge here is how does your character handle the added pressure of day and what all goes wrong. This may affect him/her in the long run, so try to make it rather enticing and dramatic. All pieces will become canon in Acta's story. You may choose whether you'd add it to your own personal one.

HAPPY WRITING

All monthlies have a time limit of the month that gave it birth (in this case, August). Once the month is over, it becomes a Wheneverly. Thus, if you have an idea and cannot yet complete it, you may always complete it at a later stage or skip it all together. Up to you. Only thing mandatory will be Events, but that will come at a much later stage.

I may have found two fitting themes for our clan:
But The Earth Refused to Die - Toby Fox
Ghost Fight (Remixed) - Kamex
I know, very different from each other. The first one I choose based on the name of the clan (well part of the name: Sanctorum). The second one was based on the current owner of this clan.
If you don't think any of these themes fit our clan, then disregard this post.

Good suggestions. Truly. The two songs miss the mark a little bit though. The first makes it slightly more dark and ominous. True it is Sanctorum, but we're based out of a warehouse and not some crypt or dark mansion sadly. As for the second, a clan's song shouldn't be based around one specific person. My suggestion would be try to find a song that reflects power, humble beginnings and something that fuses the abilities and personalities of all members together.

Heh, I think I finally found the song: Lorule Main Theme
Dark World
They are basically they same song but I think Darkworld fits much more better with this clan.
