What do you mean by 'bid in your favor'
Sep 21, 2016 7:16 PM #1461347
ps: We already have 4 wishes. Just waiting on the last two and we can quickly progress to the voting phase, which will take a decent bit longer for discussions and stuff.

Is wish an alternate word for Effect that you used in the OP?
Also you spelt my name wrong (it's XF not FX and you can just call me Skele which is easier to type still :) ).
I'm going to assume you mean the same thing as Effect and PM you my first one for that anyways to save time.

Lol yeah, wishes and effects are the same. I just didn't want to repeat the same word a lot. Also I'll fix your name :p

Dang it Nyar :p We still have the second phase to go through... I'm gonna wait a few more hours and then just progress to the next phase and make like Nyar got veto'd
Sep 22, 2016 9:15 PM #1461440
Sorry Nyarly, the show must go on. Next time if you know you have spare time on Stickpage, just PM me before you forget :p
Edit: Or let me know if you're busy!
Phase 2 begins! Player wishes are.....
Exilement:
"Any time I lose more than 5 HP per attack, the attacker receives the square of the extra damage they cause."
Basically, if x is the amount of HP Exile loses: (x-5) squared is the returned damage.
Hewitt:
"Hewitt Stands In Front of You- By the end of the Round, if this power is not vetoed, Hewitt will stand in front of a random user (decided by Devour via dice) and act as that person's meat shield.- Hewitt sustains 50% of any incoming damage the person behind him will take. Hewitt will use his HP to do this.
- If at any moment Hewitt takes a total of half his life points, he will surrender and return to the lineup.
- For as long as Hewitt is Standing In Front of Someone, he does not 'actively' participate in the Battle and cannot attack or use abilities like every player. He is a shield."
This is kind of multiple effects in one wish, but I'm barely allowing it because it's all pretty logical for a meatshield effect. For clarity, he'll be taking damage normally as well as the damage he shields a player from.
Wyzdm:
"Born to Rage- Add 20 Attack to your attack if your were also hit in the same round."
Basically +20 basic attack damage if he gets hit in a turn, per turn.
ActiveFrame:
"I bid my power to be to steal from the enemy's health 25% of the damage I give them."
Ex. Dealing 100 damage heals him for 25 hp.
Skelly:
"Supercharged nano cannon.
Any damage you would inflict on any player is increased by the total damage you have dealt to that player previously, and then divided by 100. Your basic attack and any other damage bonuses you have on top of your attack are also divided by 100."
Simplified: (Basic Attack) + (Previous Damage/100)
Basic attack + modifiers are also divided by 100.
Nyarlatholep:
Automatically veto'd. He gains 5 basic attack damage instead.
For a power to be successfully voted out of the game, it must receive 3 votes. Nyarlatholep can still vote!
Every player may vote for 2 powers to be veto'd. Normally it would be 3, but Nyar has already been veto'd this round.
To vote, simply type #Veto (Player).
Discussion will last for two days, or until we've reached an unanimous agreement.
Powers and basic attack damage will be updated on player profiles after voting is done.

I've missed forum games.
first things first: if Wyzdm and I both make it to the battle with our abilities I'll deal 400 damage to him in the first round alone, he's completely fucked by round 2. leave our powers alone, do not veto them. I want to kick his ass in spectacular fashion and come on, admit it, you want to see it too. if you veto his ability he will cause more damage to all of us, 5 damage at a time round-by-round before we can kill him. a quick clean kill gives him a measly 50 damage to all of us before I curb stomp his ass out of the game. this is an easy and obvious choice, unfortunate for him but awesome for the rest of us. don't screw this up
Skully. He barely gains any extra attack power per round but it's deadly to Hewitt and Nyar if they have no way of doing extra damage. I've been wondering what the formula would be for quickly calculating skully's attack power after a few rounds and I have no fucking clue. Devour will have a hell of a time figuring that out I'm sure. The math is simple but tedious, I crunched the numbers manually up to round 12 to the thousandth degree. He does a measly .578 damage per round at that point. To reiterate, this is lethal to Hewitt and Nyar since they cannot deal extra damage in any way.
But if my power is active, I can take him out eventually. Before the rest of us at least. Once he gets to (this is an educated guess) round 19 or 20 where his extra damage becomes 1+ per round, I'll start doing more damage against him which will accelerate at an exponential rate. skully: done
that leaves us with ActiveFrame and his health regeneration which I believe leads to a win in most cases. Not sure what to do about that. if we veto his ability then hewitt becomes a wild card and that's too many fucking variables to calculate right now. at this point I will open up to the floor to the rest of you who presumably wanted to play this game

If you miss forum games, then why didn't you join Dead Last :/ You can still join Kobayakawa over at the SE Section...
Okay, why are you veto-ing my ass? I have absolutely guaranteed that I won't be a threat for like 50% of the game. And by then, you guys will have probably been alot stronger. A vote for me means you guys have 1 more threat to worry about.. And let me add something: in the event that you are not the lucky person to be shielded, well. Then there is every advantage that this person will now be skewed to a certain favor. He knows he's better protected. But then, you guys know that. That's what the rest of the rounds are for. That is an instant -2 Threat assessment as the odds of the other 4 teaming up against this 1 guy would be greater.
So basically:
Veto Me - 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 (100% chance betrayal)
Don't Veto Me - 2 vs 4 (50% chance betrayal)
Also, why are you worried about Devour's calculation skillz. That's what Microsoft Excel is for. And you're one to talk, you've got some square bullshit going on in your corner as well. If you're questioning Skelly, then I have every reason to question your power as well.
ActiveFrame can keep his power. Healing rarely advantages you in a game like this where gangbanging is common. He'll break even more likely than not. Skelly is also equally harmless, I concur. I don't know what's up with that but maybe it'll be supplemented later. Or rather, his ability gives a platform for modification. I'd say that's fair all things considered.
The answer here is obvious, Exile is trying to pitch a spectacle wherein he and Wyz play gods and monsters while the rest of you are powerless. And if you go against them, you'll get hit as well.
#Vote Exile and Wyz. Take damage like a man, damnit. No pussies allowed.

Ok quick question:
The game plan is that I'm not rolling any combat turns until the end of round 5, after the powers and voting are over, but both Exile and Hewitt (before I informed him on skype) thought we'd be doing a round of combat for every round of voting.
Should things be that way? It might add more strategy to the game, but I also really like the idea of assembling a bunch of powers together and then fighting.

imo, retain the autobattle at end only. A Rumble-esque battle would be less interesting personally.
Sep 23, 2016 6:06 AM #1461522
wow fuck you exile. i don't know what kind of drugs your on but to think you'll get away with calling me out like that is gonna have some repercussions
vetoing exilement
vetoing skelly because fuck you from the previous rumble.
don't vote skele ever cause who wants to see that bullshit happen again. and veto exilement cause he supports cancer through subliminal messages to smoke your lungs away with a cleverly themed avatar and signature. yeah that orange background and smile may seem to brighten your day, but that same creepy grin is what he puts on his face every time you take another joint out of the last pack you bought using all your money to bury yourself six feet under forty years prematurely.

I too like the idea of assembling powers then fighting.
Also I can understand everyone trying to become Gods but what the heck is Hewitt trying to achieve? I'm very suspicious with Hewitt seeming to try and disadvantage himself. If you think 'I'm basically harmless till I hit 50%' is a good way to let us give you ridiculously overpowered abilities in the later rounds you will be wrong for sure.

Question my motives all you want, I already have 2 disgruntled Rumble players on my side.
And its not like you can not do anything about it. 4 Rounds. 4 Rounds to counter my meatshield. Let's see what you've got.
That said, I'm still waiting for a counter argument to my idea. Admit it, you can't see any holes. It gives me no advantage whatsoever. So until you can come up with one, your suspicions are merely noted at best.
