The Trump v Clinton debate starts in 3 and a half hours. Sounds like a good excuse to try and get a live group together. We could use IRC, but stickpage has the live chat built in which absolutely no one ever uses, why don't we just use that? Unless you kids have some new fangled chat thing I don't know about.

I'll be on there in about an hour, just as soon as I get off work and pick up some liquor for the festivities. See you soon.

How does one use Stick page's live chat?

Lol the "built in SP live chat" is just an embedded irc client hosted on an external site (in this case Mibbit).

Anyway this is going to be interesting. I'm gonna lurk here and read you guys' discussions because my knowledge on American politics isn't extensive enough.

Discord. I talked about maybe opening up a Discord server a while ago but decided against it for various reasons. Now we use it in the office for Max Games and I don't think I could go back to IRC. It has built in voice chat too, which would be pretty useful for something like this so people can drop in to chat without having to get someone else to invite them first.

Is that what the live chat currently is or is that what it will be? Been a while since I dropped in. You gonna join us Jeff?

Salt you should watch and ask questions. The debates are relatively dumbed down for a general audience so it could be a good learning experience

I'm down to watch it just to see what Trump is going to say and stuff. But my TV is broken and not working since 2 years ago so I'm not sure I'll be able to watch it immediately after it comes out.

There are tons of places streaming it live online, a TV is not the only way to watch it

I would've watched it if it weren't in an impossible time slot for my time zone.
