Mini Rogue is a solo minimalist card game that simulates roguelikes. The goal is to get to the 20th floor of the dungeon and beat the final boss in order to acquire Og's Blood, a powerful artifact. On the way, you'll be faced with all manner of push-your-luck decision making and maybe some dying alot as you ration your food, battle monsters, and evade traps. Treasures and items are also abundant but not without paying the price in more ways than one...
The game itself is PNP (Print and Play), and its free. But this thread is for playing it RIGHT NOW. If you're bored and just want a cheap dungeon romp, I will gladly host your game and act as the game engine itself. I'll be keeping a scoreboard in place as well if we get enough people. There are 4 difficulty levels you see:
Childish - 1 Armor, 5 Health, 5 Gold, 6 Food
Normal - 0 Armor, 5 Health, 3 Gold, 6 Food
Hard - 0 Armor, 4 Health, 2 Gold, 5 Food
Nightmare - 0 Armor, 3 Health, 1 Gold, 3 Food
Simply pick one and you're ready to play.
Reading the rules is not necessary although if you want to be fully informed, it's there for your perusal.

Resting Room Options:
Scavenge for Food (+1 Food)
Rest Up (+2 HP)
Train and Forge Equipment (+1 XP)
Exp Requirements Table:
Rank 1 - 0 XP
Rank 2 - 6 XP
Rank 3 - 12 XP
Rank 4 - 18 XP
Rank 5 - 24 XP
Higher Ranks increase your attack strength. Not your HP. XP resets back to 0 after each level up.
Items:
Fire Wand (combat) - Inflicts 10 damage to an enemy.
Ice Wand (combat) - Freeze a monster for 2 turns.
Poison Wand (combat) - 2 damage to a monster every turn.
Healing potion - Heals 5 pts.
Armor Piece - Adds 1 Armor.
Whetstone - Adds 1 exp.
Combat Items can be used during battle after the first attack. You will always attack first.
Merchant Wares:
Buy:
1G - Buy 1 Food
1G - Buy Bandages (+1 HP)
3G - Buy Poppy Seeds (+4 HP)
8G - Buy 1 Fire, Ice, or Poison Wand

Any Wand Item for 4G
You can only carry a maximum of 2 Items at anytime. Bandages and Poppy Seeds are automatically consumed since there is no Max HP. Food does not take up inventory space.
