"Quiz Time, Act I" - Question Answers:
__1.__Three important events that took place in Act 1 are:
_______- The brawl at the start, which demonstrates the tension between the Capulets and the Montagues, and the fact that the prince is clearly badass.
_______- Juliet is told that she will be married to Paris, and she seems happy about it
_______- Romeo goes to the Capulets’ ball, and meets Juliet, and falls in love for some reason; shortly afterwards they find out that they are enemies.
__2.__The Narrator describes the setting of Romeo and Juliet to the audience. obviously
__3.__Romeo and Juliet takes place in the city of Verona.
__4.__The two families who maintain a blood feud against each other are the Capulets and the Montagues.
__5.__Capulet tells Paris to either wait until Juliet is fourteen before marrying her, or to get Juliet to fall in love with him before then to accelerate the process. Paris tries to make Juliet fall in love with him at the ball, because he’s a paedophile.
__6.__Mercutio and Juliet’s nurse are alike in that they are both very loud and outspoken, and have little care for rules.
__7.__The first meeting of Romeo and Juliet happened when Romeo stealthily infiltrates the Capulets’ ball with some friends (of course nobody asked them who they were). Romeo meets Juliet while raving on the dance floor in a cliché love-at-first-sight moment, based entirely on appearance with no basis whatsoever on what they might actually be like to each other. HURRRRR
__8.__Romeo becomes a lot more driven to achieve something after he falls in love with Juliet, and becomes a lot more lively and happy. He also starts speaking in poetry. Which is extremely irritating.
__9.__When Tybalt sees Romeo at the ball his immediate reaction is to call his muzza cousin and get him to stab Romeo, but he is stopped by Capulet, who calls him a ‘saucy boy’. wat
__10.__The parents of Romeo and Juliet would probably react badly if they found out that the two had fallen in love; Romeo is of the Montagues, and Juliet is of the Capulets, so their parents are mortal enemies. It is very unlikely that either family would be willing to give up an age-old war just because their children said so, and any attempts at resolving the problem peacefully would probably end in mortal kombat

Do you think I'll get an 'A'?

It's actually pretty good. I didn't know the name of the each sides when they were fighting but now I know. I studied poems of Romeo and Juliet a few times only in English Classes.

Well in Australia, we start the school year at the start of the year and end at the end. Makes sense eh?

But it means we don't have huge long summer holidays.

__6.__Mercutio and Juliet’s nurse are alike in that they are both very loud and outspoken, and have little care for rules.
__7.__The first meeting of Romeo and Juliet happened when Romeo, the filthy nigra he is, stealthily infiltrates the Rave with some homies (of course nobody asked them who they were). I'm at McKinnon secondary, I doubt I do. But I can post the rest of the answers for you once I'm done.

Did anybody actually read the whole thing? My point is that I've stealthily included jokes that ridicule the entire story, and my teacher will hate me for it but I'll still get a good grade because it's all technically correct.

Hell yeah.

Act II Answers:
__1.__Three important events that took place in Act 2 are:
_______- The ‘Balcony Scene’
_______- Romeo and Juliet arrange to get married by Friar Lawrence
_______- Romeo and Juliet get married, like, a day after they met
__2.__Romeo starts speaking in poetry as soon as he meets Juliet because he thinks it is more romantic, and different from normal speech. Also he’s weird.
__3.__When Juliet asks “Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo”, she is actually asking why his name is Romeo, not where he is. She is referring to the fact that he is Romeo of the Montagues.
__4.__Juliet fears that Romeo will think she is ‘too quickly won’ because she is only 13, and they only just met. She also has a reputation to uphold, apparently.
__5.__Juliet’s kinsmen will surely initiate mortal kombat if they see her talking to Romeo. Most definitely.
__6.__Friar Lawrence thinks Romeo has been with Rosaline after he has spent the night talking to Juliet because Romeo’s mood has changed, and also Romeo was going out with Rosaline like the day before. Also he was gone the whole night.
__7.__When speaking to Juliet’s nurse, Romeo describes Mercutio as ‘a gentleman that loves to hear himself talk’.
__8.__Juliet’s nurse agrees to help Juliet communicate with Romeo, and plan their wedding.
__9.__Romeo and Juliet secretly agree to meet at Friar Lawrence’s cell to get married, after knowing each other for ONE DAY (either that, or, for mortal kombat).
__10.__In the scene that is commonly called ‘the balcony scene’ Romeo is stalking Juliet, and is at her house, and Juliet is on the balcony, talking to an apparently invisible person about how much she loves Romeo, and then Romeo jumps out of the bushes and starts talking to her.

In the last week of school our SS teacher was giving us longer WACs (Reports we had to do everyday) and she made up these horrible topics that we had to do, me and my friend said screw it and wrote "NO" in giant letters on our paper.

I got a 98 on mine and he got 100.

EDIT: Uploading a page of mine.
That "check +" means I got a 105 on it. My handwriting is so awesome, isn't it.

It's actually pretty accurate. You'd probably do fine, rofl.

I noticed that saucy boy part as well. It was kinda gay.

I know how that is. I didn't finish a worksheet in my bio class, so I put answer down on all the unfinished ones and got it right.
