Going through a testing stage to get a decent style together. It's been a while for me, and it's also a dramatic shift from the type of animation I'm used to. Cool to be back into character animation though, I look forward to progressing a bit further.

The reactions with the purple and green stick don't look like they belong together. Like, I can't tell which way he is trying to kick to. Might just be me. But, pretty cool overall.

Which software did you use to make this?
The purple stick's final kick could use more force, or follow through, because that was a powerful enough kick.
Other than that it was pretty cool for a warm-up.

Ah good to know. Yeah it's taking me a while to get used to reactions and stuff again. Definitely something I need to improve on.

I used Cinema 4D. Yeah I agree with the purple guy's kicks. Hopefully I can adjust the rig so it's easier to move him around following a movement. It's a little clunky at the moment. All in development though I guess, but wanted to get a couple of tests out. Thanks for the comments! :)

That software looks pretty neat. How difficult is it to animate in it compared to Flash?

I find it a lot easier than flash now. Initially the whole 3D business might be a bit of a turn off, but you can achieve some amazing results with it. I'm just adjusting from camera & object animation into creating character animation. Which is quite drastically different in the software and setup, but once you've got it down it's all good.

This feels like Alpha vs Pulse 2.

Just, without their fighting style, weapons, abilities and personalities
(also, it's Alfa, not Alpha. FLLFFL)

Not sure if those are compliments or criticism lol. I wasn't externally influenced, had to google What alfa vr pulse was lol. None the less, thanks for the kind comments. Hopefully it will improve with my next couple of animations. Been sorting my rig this week
