Everyone has their things, so I suppose he shouldn't be too jealeous. I admit it's a very good animation, but I've seen 12 year old kids making even more epic stuff. It's not TOO hard believe someone is good at animating, if he has quite some years of experience. But it's a funny story:P.

It's hard for people who don't know how do to do it, or haven't hung around forums.

I bet there's no one who didn't watch disney animations, Yu-Gi-Oh, and other toons on TV. A stick animation is the same as that, but way less professional looking. The first animation I saw on the internet was Bahamut's Hyga FFA animation. That's still the most epic pivot animation I've ever seen, but I wasn't surprised or disbelieving at all. It just made me want to make animations too.

Well most people aren't like that, they're like, there's no ****ing way anyone ever could make that if they weren't like a professional or some shit.

Seriously.

also i hate it when some of my mates see me on this forum, and see me posting something like "learn to spell faggot," or "owned" etc. They start sniggering as if it's like really gay to talk to other people except them. And it especially annoys me when this one kid who thinks he's good at flash tells me what to do. He hasnt even heard of easing before, and can only do stuff like lightening effects. And when i show him a well done punch anim, he says well that was boring, and shows me a really long one of his, but THAT'S REALLY CRAPPY. glad there's others like me who know what it's like when these DICKS WHO CALL THEMSELVES MY MATES ACT LIKE DOUCHES!!! *stabs muther****er friend*

whoo, that was a rage.

Nederlander?

I once heard someone on school mumbling something about pivot in the computer classroom. I said: 'You know pivot?'. He's like: 'Yeah, I might want to animate.
So I told I animated a bit and showed him what I was most proud and goes like:'Yeah right, SPP-forums is a forum only for proffesionals, you're totally lying about animating'.
He laughed at me.
I logged in.
I laughed at him.

And I'm seriously jealous of you guys having animation classes.
We have classes for word... -.-'

there was a poster for an "animation" class at lunch, so I decided to go. It was a bloody cartoon drawing class, that they said was called "animation". I got mad for the year 11's wasting my time. Also, all the IT teachers except for mr. Cox at my school are shit, and aren't even trained. Like mr. gough, he's a bloody maths teacher!

He thought SPP was for professionals? *looks at flash section* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahaaha ah...

I've had that experience before, my friend got Flash CS3 because he heard that I animate, and he wanted to animate a stick figure running across the screen with a chirstmans tree in the background for something in his youth group. He shows me what he did and it was a simple stick figure looking thing tweened across the screen with an incredibly crappy drawn tree in the background. he even tried to make the stick turn around with the free form tool and it turned in that 2Dish fashion and stuff.

So I told him I'd do it, so I pull out my laptop and tablet draw a quick tree, animate a short run cycle and make it move across the screen... He wanted me to show him how and when I showed him how to animate a simple run cycle he kept going "no you did it liek this earlier" and goes on to do something completely different than what I said. Then at the end of our "lesson" my run cycle has 24 frames and runs at 48 FPS. While his is a little sketchy blob thing having an orgasm and a seizure at the same time.

Pivot used to be some sort of fad on my school. Every time we had to work on the PC on school, all everyone did was just animate and stuff. I was their hero, apparantly. They said I was like the best animator in the universe, so I showed them something FrozenFire made, and they just said it sucked. Yeah, funny times.

And yes I'm Dutch, Gyohdon.

Cox is shit as well.
We used to rip the piss out of him so bad, he threw me into a door once.

Gough is actually a really nice bloke, if you have him for Maths in 10 and 11 he'll get you through it.

The two chaps who are awesome with IT at school are the technicians, the old geezer and the young chap(Marriot, i think he's called)

what year 11's were running animation club?
Was it Mitch Tromans?
